Princess Luna is in deep trouble. Princess Celestia has been murdered, and all the evidence points to her. The only thing is that she doesn't remember the last twenty-four hours. All she knows is that something sinister is going on and that her own life is in danger.
Chased by a detective who is above the law, she must prove her innocence or face execution. When all the evidence points to her, only her missing memories remain to exonerate her. Will she find the keys to unlock these secrets, or is it already too late?

I hate Pipesmoke, treating Luna that way. I guess it's no worse than what Celestia did to Discord though. I hate them both.
It's hard to have believable conflict against a world with so few rules set in stone. You pulled it off well enough so far though. Have a thumb and a fave.

1706263 Thanks! Glad you liked it. For the longest time, it had only downvotes. I guess people didn't like how I "killed" Celestia, and they didn't give it a chance to play out. Maybe I should do more one-shots.

I had a bit of trouble in the beginning understanding the action that was going on. I think you expect the reader to make leaps of logic and the grammar wasn't perfect. I almost stopped reading when Pipesmoke started talking about torture, you know where a lot of fics lead. Once I got through that, it was a good story. This fic definitely deserves more upvotes.
1710582 My whole intent was for it to be somewhat ambiguous at the very start. Starting off a story like that isn't always the best way. I will say that this whole episode is a side story to Tux n Tails. I'll also have a love triangle short with Soarin', Spitfire, and RD up at some point, which will also be a Tux side story. Holy crap, Batman, everything's connected!
