Stove times and similar may vary, but I recommend a sourdough loaf cut into normal slices, any slice of sharp white cheddar, and strawberry jam.
Do one slice of the cheddar, a generous but even film of jam.
Lather the outside of the slices with just normal mayo, give it an even coating, grill in a pan on medium heat, both sides, until the cheese is melted.

The title of the chapter is "Book, Bushel, Bread, Bullies"! Bullies and Report is... well, the same thing, but the other 3 got swapped around for no reason! Not cool! And, to top it off, that's not even the correct order(Bushel, Book, Bread, Bullies)!
Now, let me tell you that there is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for not paying 9000% attention to the smallest possible detail; because of that, I have been forced- BEYOND MY WILL, might I add- to magically cast 3.6 billion downvotes.

I was grinning like nobody's business the entire time I was reading this cuteness overload. I love parental Rainbow Dash stories, whether she's doing it knowingly or otherwise. There's just something extra adorable (and AWESOME!) about her taking the time to show Scootaloo how much she loves her, even if said filly is asleep the entire time.

My understanding as a fandom latecomer is that "The Last Crusade" is pretty controversial and that many fans prefer to fire it straight out of their headcanons into the sun.
Honestly, I can't blame them for doing so. The level of parental/adult neglect is disgusting, especially for a kid's show. I would have greatly preferred if it had shown that Scootaloo was already living with her aunts full-time or even if it had just indicated her parents were around, but hadn't made an in-show appearance because they simply weren't relevant to any given story.
This was moving. I don't like Rainbow Dash much, but this story makes me love her. It's well done. Have a like.

I'm kinda glad that it was confirmed that her parents were still alive in canon, even if they weren't exactly the best.
Scootaloo being an orphan is one of those things I've always felt worked better for fanfics than the actual show.
Soooo unbelievably cute! Ahhh! Every detail from Dash's insecurities to her friends' teasing to standing up to the clown brigade, all of it was so much fun to read. I definitely need to borrow the sleepy Scootaloo plot for my own Scootadopt story! Wonderful indeed.
