1. Ah it’s good to be back into the main series again! S4 going to be a big one for sure! Especially with what’s coming in this season!
2. Going to feel weird getting used to the new update schedule. (So we’re looking at seeing future stories coming out way later than expected) but hey, is what it is, and will get used to it eventually (after all we have waited longer than that during months hiatus) and by the looks of it, S4 will end about late 2025 with RR possibly starting in 2026.
Though I have to asked, guessing during those in between weeks, your other story will be getting updated?

Thanks very much for getting the fourth book in this series started. I definitely liked the work going into the dialogue, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. I really appreciated the foreshadowing for later seasons with Sunset's commentary on the Tree of Harmony as well as the introduction to the pony counterparts of Juniper and her sister, in addition to the bits with Flash, Vanguard and Javelin, the Harmony Element fragments, the reveal of Sunset's middle name, Pinkie's POSSIBLE foreshadowing guess concerning Grogar , the stuff with Dark Mimic and her mother's ghost, Applejack making that extremely valid point to Rainbow about Sunset having been in a world (mostly) without magic for three years and Discord's fourth-wall breaks before Twilight ended up travelling back (in her mind) to Nightmare Moon's first appearance (the last one from the canon episode).
Definitely looking forward to more of this.

Full disclosure, the Juniper that appears in this chapter has nothing to do with the Equestria Girls character. She didn't have a name before meeting Sunset and Sunset just happened to give her the name Juniper.

Pretty good start to season 4.
Guess with this release schedule, each season will roughly take about a year to finish up (26 episodes on a biweekly schedule is 52 weeks for one season) with Rainbow Rocks releasing in Fall of 2025 and Season 5 coming in 2026.
Interesting seeing what Sunset's been up to since returning and the new powers she's gained.
Foreshadowing for Grogar in the final season.....
Nice use of the more adult humor from Discord.
Next time: The Guardians attempt to solve the tree vine problem as Twilight gains more answers on the supposed Tree of Harmony and the group gaining a new surprise at the end.
