PKAnon

dirty, depressed, procrastinating AiE heathen

Anon, rattled by the realization that it's been a year since his forced displacement to Equestria, takes a solemn stroll throughout the castle late in the night. Memories of a life once lived haunt him, but not for very long - a certain princess with a penchant for innocent mischief simply can't let him remain that way. In kindred spirits, comfort can be found in droves.

This is an old green of mine, circa 2017, touched up and re-written a tad to reflect my current quality of writing. I've had a few people (or just the same guy in /moon/ a couple of times) tell me this is their favorite green that I've written, so I wanted to bring it here and share it with you, too.

Loved this. The prose pops off the page and Luna is absolutely wonderful in this. The sad tone of this is well contrasted by the interactions towards in the end. Cheeky little ending there too! Well done, PKAnon.

greenhorns is it an reference to DRG greenbeards

Other way around, actually.

"Greenhorn" as a euphemism for "newbie" came first.

No, thank you for writing this and putting it on Fimfic.

Now write more, please. :pinkiehappy:

Wonderfully wholesome overall!

When I saw your name and the short blurb, I knew what story it was - and it was worth a reread in prose form. It's aged like a fine wine, my friend, and while I'm not the fellow you refer to, this is a story I've always loved, particularly as it neatly fits into my personal headcanon and interpretation of Luna.

Aww geez, you stop that sort of talk. :twilightsheepish:
I'm cut from the same cloth as you - and it's stories like this that inspire me to write more Mooners by tickling my heart and soul in ways my writing cannot do.
