That conversation between Cadence, , and Tirek was fantastic.
It's pretty refreshing to have a fic where Dash actually wins against AJ for once. (Seriously, it seems like every fic I've come across that has the two make a bet ends with AJ winning).
Also, having Dash use the rope against AJ is a nice rich)

Maybe, but it gets old when it keeps happening.
Like, some fan cliches, I don't mind seeing over and over (Rainbow Dash adopting Scootaloo, for example). Others just get tiring after a while, and "AJ beats Dash in some kinda bet" is one of those.
