This story is a sequel to Equestria Ninjas: A Shining New Digi-tude!
When a psychic energy pulse affects the portal tracker, Donnie, Applejack, Gamer, Blade Swipe, and Shinigami travel to a New York where ghosts are real. To get to the source, they team up with the experts, the Ghostbusters. Through the spooks, marshmallow men, spider witches, and slime, they must stop the revival of a blast from the past. The key might lie within this Dr. Illyssa. Things are gonna get strange in the neighborhood so who ya gonna call?

Walter Peck still up to no good. Just can't leave the Ghostbusters alone even though they proved their work is valuable and real. Thankfully the mayor is so understanding and was able to find a way for all sides to work together. But you can bet Peck will still wanna find a way to get rid of the Ghostbusters and keep himself in the clear
