It could have been worse. At least they had fun.

I think they should get Shining in to corroborate their story. That deserved way better than a B-.

Delightful madness… though as noted, there’s corroborating witnesses and paperwork they could cite. Still a delighful example of the dangers of assuming and the joy of discovery. Thank you for it and best of luck in the judging.

I like the idea of Sci-Twi and Sunset going from academic rivals to more or less being each other's significant other.

The first movie had this kind of dynamic between Sunset and Pony-Twi, and I like how it was expanded upon in this story.

I appreciate the dysfunctional nature of these two goobers. Very fun fic!

Aside from Sunset not calling immediate bullshit on the Assignment and threatening to go to the principals because the subject of the assignment is not only unethical but also illegal this was a nice story.
Well written too, i did not find spelling or grammar mistakes.
You get an A.

Now it would be funny what the other dates were like!

Mm... not keen on the use of 'AI' for the cover, but I get it - biker Twilight's not exactly something there's likely to be art of, so it's understandable in this instance.

Otherwise, story's pretty fun, all told. Delightful little comedy of errors - this is why you agree on at least the schedule and type of the date in advance, kiddies.

...

I mean, I assume - for me, it's all kind of a thing that happens to other people, but it seems like it'd be the case.

They could, but there's be no reason to assume he wasn't just lying too to help his little sister.

Now, the arrest report that would have to have been filed? That'd be a bit more conclusive. Plus, honestly, someone as fastidious as Twilight should probably have kept the tickets anyway as evidence, but given how out of her wheelhouse this all is, the failure's reasonable.

Pffft hehehebehe! This deserves more likes. My favorite part was Twi's cursing. EFF! DOUBLE EFF!

She rented a tux and everything. That's dapper high class.

And in the end, it was too good and the teacher didn't buy it. Nice.
