This chapter was very cool. Was fun to see Thunder and Fiery in action. Though I guess the Hyper Stud trait doesn't exist yet in this multiverse, because I'd assume Thunder was a Hyper Stud like Midnight would later be.
Where is Lightning? Maybe back home with Snowy or in the Wonderbolt branch?

Yep, Chrysalis is the most evil character in my lore, not counting any guest OCs such as Omen, Varys, Viscera, etc. Basically she's akin to figures in mythology that devour their own young to fulfill themselves. Even Sombra has a love for his sons (all deceased so far as anyone knows, like himself currently here) and later his daughter in his own twisted way when he meets Cerise in PoW.
Lightning will appear in later chapters!
Hyper-stallions exist here but likely are all dormant and unaware of the gene, since it's unneeded in peaceful times where ponies flourish.

Well I did love the fact that they swapped wives. Was very hot.
And Ocellus becoming more and more bolder with her movements. Could it be possible for her to get eventually strong enough to try and fully submit Thunder, Snowy, Cadence, Shining, Fiery, and the Maids to her will, kind of what Chrysalis did to Shining Armor in Season 2? A complete takedown of the Crystal Empire by one single changeling.
And while they might be able to break free at some point, she is just a proto queen, by the time they do, the Crystal Empire might be swarming with thousands, and sacrifices would have to be made, to leave and find a new home, to fight and drive the changelings out, or to fail at both and be consumed by the swarm to be nothing but love batteries to a successful empire.
Beatrix interfering with timelines is a rather interesting idea. On one hand you have King Sombra, who actually became a good guy thanks to Beatrix entering his world. On the other hand, she also brought the Eldritch and doomed dozens of similar timelines. And I feel here she just made things worse, because sure, Midnight gets to meet her and Cerise, but at the same time he had a rougher childhood and ultimately is probably going to lose his life against Fiery or to the collapsing Multiverse in PoW.
Like even if this iteration of Midnight's world was doomed to immediately be taken over by the swarm, similar to A Change In View's timeline, I feel Beatrix's inference caused more loss of life, pain, and again the multiverse collasping. Because at least the changelings here are more interested in lewd acts if Ocellus is to go by? But then you said Chrysalis is the worst. I feel she'd be in between ACIV and Lightendark Chrysalis level of evil. She wants to conquer Equestria, but allows small mercy through sex producing lust. But in Lightendark she's definitely a maniac, similar to Depths of Oblivion Chrysalis.
Midnight: "Beatrix! I went to the Paradise World to be at peace, not to be thrown to a worse timeline!"

Yeah, one changeling can potentially bring down a civilization, although before Chrysalis rose to power they were usually docile and solitary, probably not going above underground unless they had to.
Indeed, Beatrix is a double-edged sword, as like you pointed out a version of Sombra turned good, Bellatrix was saved from a pointless existence, Cerise and Eclipsed were born, Shadow Scythe was redeemed, etc. due to her interference. But she's probably doomed as many worlds as she's saved, even if some of that was almost completely out of her control. She's a force of nature!
Chrysalis was always as evil here I think, but encountering the Cult of the Nemesis allowed her to enact more twisted plans. Before, she had to work slower and more cautiously.

Ah makes sense. They live in hives. But they definitely don't have the ability to carve out the world hallow like they somehow did in PoW.
Like the fact they did that indicates there's probably some lava changelings, because if you go even just a few miles down it becomes unbearably hot. I think the mantle of the earth is as hot as the surface of the sun ._.
Which honestly makes Lightning acquiring an Electric Onoma fairer, because Chrysalis probably could tank a hit! Same with Fiery who is only growing further and further with strength.
Well, technically all of those characters are dead, actively dying, or will die in the very near future in the Lightendark timeline, and Omen is actively proposing a better life for everyone. The more loyal you are, the better spawn conditions you get XD

Hmhmm. yeah, makes sense. Who knows how long she replaced Cadence and was with Shining. Someone explained that the Changeling Timeline happened because Twilight, who didn't end up going to Ponyville due to the Cutie Mark stuff, ended up noticing that Cadence was a fraud earlier, so while Celestia dealt with the Dragon in Ponyville from the Dragonshy episode, since the cloud actually could've contaminated everything, Chrysalis made her move and conquered Canterlot, then took down Celestia by herself, and then probably was finishing off the resistance by the time mainline Twilight appeared.
Yeah once Chrysalis gets the ball rolling, she's an absolute menace and pleasures in the imminent victory she'll achieve. But Lightendark Chrysalis already is acting like she won, so I feel she's even eviler than canon Chrysalis and certainly more evil than I initially depicated her in ACIV. I think I made her too maternal in that scenario. But hey, it still was a decent first clop story!

Well, since PoW runs on the Hollow Earth theory (no I don't believe it's real lol!), like there the earth is cool below instead. Equestria is magic, so I'm allowed to twist logic!
Lightning arguably has one of the most powerful Onomas, but Fiery's is also insanely powerful, but like Lightning's hard to control. If you've seen the third part of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Avdol's Stand Magician Red is similar; seems straightforward at first, but Fiery can shape his blaze, and potentially create a mini nuke!
In PoW, Chrysalis does indeed feel she's already won, since she has the cult backing her and an army of combined hives all over. Plus she has a secret plan which won't become clear until near the climax!

Unfortunately it's not like they're going to rat themselves out for someone like Thunder to realize "hey, who the fuck is spiking our drinks with... Changeling Venom..."
Luckily Midnight probably would lose at most a few years of his lifespan, compared to the decades he lost it in Lightendark where his Hyper gene was pushed to its limit over and over again. And with advancing medical tec, he probably could still reach late age. He'd basically be the Saiyan equivalent, when they rapidly age after reaching 80 years old or something.
Moonlight and Lightning a few weeks later.
Moonlight: "You tell her!"
Lightning: "No you tell her! She's your mom!"
Moonlight: "My mom will kill me! You tell her!"
Lightning: "Ugh, fine!" *Lightning knocks on the door, and soon a new thestral appears*

Lightning: "Uhm... I think me and Moonlight are getting pregnant, no other contraceptives are working against the Hyper Stallion cum inside our bodies, can you please brew us a potion with your special moonflower plants?"

*Slams the door*
Moonlight: "...shit."

???: "Ok you two come in, but we're definitely having a talk and I'm going to notify your parents too. And whoever did this to you two will also have to be here."
