This story is a sequel to The Vinyl Scratch Tapes
Thirteen years after the events of Vinyl Scratch Tapes, Vinyl tries to get the "band" back together. The key word being "try."
[A dramatic/comedic sequel to the original two seasons of the Vinyl Scratch Tapes. Enjoy your two favorite characters banter, argue, and occassionally have heavy emotional moments that come out of nowhere, just like the original! Chapters are shorter than the original. Updated as often as I can keep this concept going.]
We're back boys!
You know Equestria really set the technical advancement train to full speed. 13 years ago they just invented radio and now they have podcasts.
Love the image of Octavia and Vinyl fighting each other, if you don't mind me asking where did you find it?

I found it looking for a Vinyl and Octavia piece trying to fit the right vibe. Here's where I found it: https://derpibooru.org/images/1632910
The original original source is listed as a dead 4chan link I believe, so that's the only place I was able to trace it to.

Thank you for answering my question.
This story is a bit of a rollercoaster.
A sequel to the Vinyl Scratch Tapes? Now that's a callback! Awesome!
They broke up? After all they went through in the first two stories? Really? That's depressing.
Oh, f me. That's actually a good reason, that makes sense.
Octavia needs to be restrained in that art, as she's gonna choke poor Vinny out!
Let's go! Into the age of podcasts after a decade, and time to prepare for new fun and excitement and best of all, new lore!
Yeah they're totally getting back together.
HOLY SHIT ITS BACK
Funny stuff, let’s bring the crew together!
Holy buck! I just re read vinyl tapes and couldn't believe it i thought it was a joke. Welcome back, how have you been these years?
Crazy that this doesn't have more reads considering the popularity of the original.
The time skip has made this a really fun read so far. Vinyl's circumstances have immediately injected high stakes into the plot, and it has helped me get invested in this world's Vinyl/Octavia again very quickly. My only "concern" is how Vinyl's actions feel like they contradict the original Vinyl Tapes, as she seemed to have learnt lot of humility during the ending, but in my eyes that's the whole reason her current situation is so intriguing. So it isn't really an actual problem lol
Regardless, this is shaping up to be a really strong sequel. I'll be tracking for sure, and I hope to see it continued soon!
This is great stuff, I am so happy to see a sequel of Vinyl Scratch Tapes. I do hope you keep working on this as its already gotten me hooked.
