Not sure if I like the idea of love blooming with Tempest, I though she and Javeline could have better connection but we will see how things develop as things go on

I think it’s a bit soon yet to call it “love”. What would make sense to me, though, is Anon being the first new creature (not to sell Grubber short) in positively years who shows signs of caring about Tempest as an actual pony instead of as a servant, “the commander”, and as of late “the traitor”, and that then getting through to her.

Sure, next to that it’d also make sense to me for her to be on the lookout for any sign of him just playing her...but then she also put more faith into the Storm King’s promise than that guy ever deserved even in the movie, so at least emotionally she’s probably not quite as guarded as she thinks.
