For his entire life, he served under the jungle tyrant Yharim, serving as his eternal friend and ally. Even as his empire came crumbling down, Yharon sought only to protect his master. This led him to face the one behind the empires fall, the terrarian. After a monumental battle, Yharon, last of the dragons, and only true friend of the jungle tyrant is slain. But his soul is not truly dead. After all, he is the divine dragon of rebirth. Soon, his egg will hatch once more, and the resplendent phoenix will spread his wings once more.
But he won’t wake up in terraria. In fact, he won’t even remember who he was. Can he make a new life for himself, in this new magical realm of friendship? Or will his past come back to haunt him, and take everything from him all over again?

That’s honestly a hard question. It has a mixture of townbuilding, action adventure, rpg and bullet hell mechanics. So I’d say an action rpg, with other elements mixed in.

Ponies get freaked out by dragons. Spike is a dragon. Therefore knowing that spike is a dragon will cause them to panic. Thinking he’s a griffon means they won’t worry about getting their eyeballs boiled out of their head by fire breath

Yeah, I always figured changelings biologically could reproduce with anything, because changeling, and gender for them is strictly psychological.

If the story continues into the latter seasons I'm hoping Spike meets the coolest dragons of the show (Ember/Smolder) instead of jackasses like the brute in this chapter! Keep up the great work!

Normally yes, but due to a unique set of circumstances he couldn’t. The Terrarian is one of the few creatures that could permanently kill his physical body. Normally he was supposed to absorb the soul and become a god, but due to some things that will be explained later in the story, Yharon’s soul was not absorbed and instead, catapulted into the afterlife. From there, Twilights magic managed to somehow find his already weakened soul and pull him throughout several dimensions, straining him further. Until he finally reached the egg, in which his memories were not stripped away but sealed so deep within his being that only a being of great power could hope to extract them.

I’m sorry, I think I might have confused you. Spike isn’t the one being replaced. Yharons memories were locked away within his soul, allowing him to have a second chance. This second chance is Spike. Spike has a completely different personality and set of morals, making them two separate characters, while sharing the same soul.

When i saw Celestia, getting involved I was worried for our favorite bug (besides the queen if she is good character which is not the case here), But all was fine HOPEFULLY.
From all i can think there's 2 options i think could happen in the relation ship, either thorax can gender bend at some point just to be that way, or it stays gay. nothing wrong with it.
