There's nothing more beautiful, nothing more destructive, than being the perfect match for somepony else.

And us?

I'm afraid we're made for each other.

Isn't that wonderful?

Hate and love are not opposites.

I've once again written something that defies summarization without completely spoiling itself. CW for Descriptions of wings being broken and toxic yuri once again, rated T just to be on the safe side. Aaaand I know it's kind of an older acronym, but MFEO stands for "made for each other," in case you were curious. ♥

Howdy, hi~!

God I love this. I dont know why but toxic gay ships have been my absolute thing lately. I adore the subtle world building and weaving dialogue, the building anticipation for the final reveal that truly puts everything back into proper perspective. Its such a beautiful read and so glad I got to. Banger read, thanks~!

Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind comment a lot. ♡

I loved this when I first read it during the panic -- such a great interpretation of the prompt, making it about cat and mouse, guard and assassin, that thin line between hatred and grudging respect that has launched a thousand enemies-to-lovers ships. (Like, it's not even one of my personal core tropes, but when it works, it sure does work.)

And then you went and made it twice as long (I think?) and twice as toxic (at least!) and were like, why choose between hatred and love when I can have them both, and it just made this story even more gloriously itself than it was before. Fantastic job, this was a joy to read both times I read it, and I'm sure I'll be back again later. :D

(Incidentally, thanks for explaining MFEO, lol -- it was new to me, but I kept forgetting to ask. 😂)

Oh, I do love this.
