Pipp Petals learns of a threat made against her life ahead of one of her upcoming concerts. Her mother's consistent nagging about it thus forces the popstar princess to hire an official bodyguard to be on her security detail.
Hitch decides to volunteer Sprout for the role after hearing of how bored his former deputy is. Sprout, for his part, is not thrilled in the slightest to be spending considerable time with a pegasus, especially one who stills harbors some resentment towards him.
Neverthless, Sprout will try his hardest to protect Pipp's life. Now if only she would listen to him about the dangers in crowds and other potential threats.

Ok this was a pretty good story here so it looks like somebody is threatening pipp during the concert and apparently Queen Haven also got the news as well so she tried to ask hitch if anybody can protect her daughter which for hitch he had an idea since he kind of had his argument with Sprouts a while ago about doing something which he needs it but for both him and Pipp this is not what they expected and of course they don't get along with each other forcing him to quit but knowing for a fact he's still done with anybody ever done protecting pipp which he did because somebody did try to hurt her luckily he protected her which that was awesome for him and it would be nice to see something like that near in the future I got to say I do like to see more like Sprout to have a little bit more character development either here or in the show either way this was pretty good keep up the good work
Hitch? The hyper overprotective dragon dad? Ha, ha, silly Sprout, Sparky's lucky he's not locked into body armor inside a padded room under 24/7 surveillance by Hitch out of paranoid fear for the dragon's own safety.
Besides, I'm sure Pipp already knows ALL of the ways on how to evade them if needed, more if Zipp's ever given her any tips on that front, so it's doubtful they'd be very effective.
Y'know, I'd suggest they try Zipp for bodyguard duty (as well as investigator so to find out who made the threat in the first place) as she'd be both capable, willing, and know very well how to work and reason with Pipp. But I'm sure Haven would just see that as potentially endangering both of her daughters, and of course she can't have that.
You know, that raises a good point. I can understand MYM not using it more, since it had bigger plot points to cover by that time, but you'd think TYT would've thought to make use of it a time or two by now.
Anyway, some good points made on both sides here. Pipp is right in the sense that living in continuous fear of any and all threats won't help anything and often IS precisely what the villainous making such threats want. But at the same time Sprout is right in the sense that this doesn't mean one should still be needlessly reckless with their safety.
