It was a peaceful day in Equestria, when suddenly, an evil army of demons invade the land, seeking to conquer it. They start capturing and possesing ponies, and start turning Equestria into their own "personal playground". In order to save their friends and their homes, Fluttershy and Discord become Demon Hunters, with the goal of defeating the demons, and saving Equestria from this nightmare. Will they be able to succeed?

Neat concept discord does feel a bit ooc but then again most depict grogar as discords creator and I doubt he'd not know but

While i can't reveal much yet because you know, spoilers, i do plan on including Tirek and Chrysalis later on, but not Cozy Glow, at least, not as a villain. Mostly because i don't really have any interesting ideas involving her for this story...
The dialogue seems a little dry, but that's mostly because Discord is talking so normal, no gags or anything, heh. But I'm still pretty interested on seeing where this is going! Specially with Grogar around, Its very rare I get to see him as a bad guy in a fic!
Also sad that we just get all the other good guys captured off screen! 😫 Def reading more tho, I wanna see Fluttershy be a demon slayer so bad. Double barreled shotgun

I'm not a fan of horror, but the prophecy of the Red Sky was a nice intro.
Tempest being Captain of the royal guard is a pretty fun idea actually! It aligns with the meta narrative pretty well, she was always a commander and a skilled one, and eventually she gets redeemed. With the power vacuum of Shining moving to the Crystal Empire to be the captain there through nepotism, there totes should be a Captain in Canterlot, and if it can't be Sunset, may as well be Tempest. I might use Captain Tempest idea for my multiverse fic at some point!
If there's no Sunset cameo I'll unsubscribe /j

Idk if you've watched the show before (I think you said something about not watching it on my asks on tumblr?) But it's funny that you're replicating the trends in the show, like the princesses complete incompetency with the bad guys, constantly shafting aside their roles of saving the world to the protagonists AND, funny enough, mind control. Just thought I'd point it out, because if you HAVEN'T watched the show, its very funny that you replicated those trends accidentally

Oh i have, it's just it was a long time ago (i think i stopped at some point in season 6?). Been planning to rewatch it at some point, but i always end up forgetting to/chickening out for some reason, so most of what i know of these characters comes from my memories of them, wiki pages, and youtube videos. I know, kind of a bummer, but, it is what it is. :/
Anyway, i'm going to try to get a headstart on writing chapter 7, since i got some pretty cool ideas for it...
