PinkieYukari

T

Kaguya Houraisan - a lunar refugee
Princess Luna - the rise and fall of the moon

No one would think that these two's lives were entangled with each other. But, with so many similarities within one event, can one really just subject them as coincidence? Follow through what happens when Kaguya receives a formal apology in regards to a certain eternal moon.
These two sacred countries... both of magic and harmony, even though from different methods, are eerily similar... would it not be common sense that these two are somehow intertwined, even from the lands where common sense has turned on its head? Watch as the Lunatics of both worlds meet and greet one another, and the border of harmony and chaos blurs even further than before.

An idea I had on my head for quite a while - so long that my brain clogged any idea pertaining to something other than this. This will be considered a one-shot, though connections may appear in any future ideas I may have. SAD tag because I tried to incorporate a sad overtone, but I'm not sure how well it went over. Also, Teen rating for one reference to incest and one or two expletives.
--EDIT--
BAM, I've decided to continue this into a... not... one-shot... thing. Whatever. Read on as my wonderful little headcanon is splayed out before you.

Interesting, I am slightly confused About the Nightmare moon/ Luna situation you have.
Otherwise a nice Bit of crossover fluff.

In all honesty, I could have explained that a bit better. My personal headcanon is that Nightmare Moon is a differing alicorn aside from Luna and Celestia (and TECHNICALLY Chrysalis), who controls dreams, and her ACTUAL name is Nyx (yes, the name came from Pen Stroke's story; I couldn't rightly think of a better name), and Luna's jealousy causes her to ask Nyx to possess her and become powerful enough to make the night eternal. Yet, sadly enough, they didn't think it through enough, and the full magical potential hadn't "charged" yet, so she called on someone she knew - Kaguya - to manipulate the eternity of the full moon, which wasn't what happened - rather, she caused a fake moon in Gensokyo instead, which made the player characters in Imperishable Night slow down the flow of time - and it caused Celestia to use the Elements of Harmony to banish Nyx to the moon, and banishes Luna there as well.
Does that make sense? I hope so; it's kinda hard to explain. :twilightblush:

There; the most relevant cover photo I could find.
Shame that the post on DB doesn't have the actual source.

Considering this is based off of Kaguya and stuff (I may be wrong, haven't read this yet) why don't you do a crop of this picture?

Because I don't plan on using ponified Gensokyians... yet, at least.

Interesting concept. This deserves a place in the Touhou group.:twilightsheepish:
Though if you don't feel like submitting it, that's okay.
(And if you already did, I apologize)
Regardless, hope to see more things like this.:pinkiehappy:

I really hope you do update this in the near future.
Every time a new person writes a crossover fanfiction about this, there's no ponies shooting Danmaku.:raritydespair:
Except for the two stories which are cancelled.:twilightsheepish:
Good luck.

At the time, I had meant "ponies learning to use danmaku somewhere down the line." Otherwise it would be a bit more alternate universe.

never mind what I said, I thought you were someone else

Ah, all righty then. No harm done. .3
