I ignore the downvotes, knowing that you cannot please everypony. As for my thinking, I was okay with this first chapter. and curious to see where it will lead from this point.

Eh, if your story doesn't garner any downvotes, then something must be wrong with your tale. Downvotes mean that you are pushing boundaries that many are uncomfortable with. In this story here, it is the concept of foalcon. I do not judge others for such; hell, I've written foalcon myself. And I am ignoring that so-called "list" from FimFetch recently published.
