During a LAN party at Twilight's library, Applejack and Rainbow Dash get into an argument over who's a better player. One thing leads to another, and suddenly they find themselves facing a certain RTS game... Will they, with the help of their friends, find out who's the best? Or will something go horribly wrong?

As a starcraft fan I totally approve of this story.
I haven't noticed any serious errors, but I'm Polish too, so you shouldn't rely only on my insight.

I personally think that Starcraft: Brood War would be a better choice than Wings of Libery for this kind of fiction. There are a lot more things in the former that new players can get frustrated about, like dragoons having difficulty walking down the ramps, scarab duds, lucky spider mine pulls... also things like "allied mines" or "lurker holds" could be used as an argument for cheating in the match between RD & AJ. What I want to say is that Brood War provides a lot more comedic possibilities than Wings of Liberty. Just watch some sc:bw pimpest plays.

But I will be following your story nevertheless. Good luck!:twilightsmile:

Liked and favourited!
An original premise, good description and a solid plot.
I am earnestly waiting for the next chapter to see the mishaps of learning how to successfully play Starcraft 2. (I know, I've been there...)
I would also put myself down for pre-reading, but I am really busy this month.
But I don't think you need one. I found no mistakes in my first read.
I have found that non-native speakers can spell and use proper grammar more correctly than the average person because they are actually taught PROPER grammar. I live in Australia, and it takes a GREAT amount of self-restraint to correct my teachers in both prononciation and grammar.
Even as simple as using "is" and "are" in the proper places.
There are some writers on this site that need some SERIOUS gramatical help, and you are not one of them.
-That Random Guy Who Rambles About Stuff

That was good. The grammar for a non-native English is pretty good considering other stuff you see around here. I skimmed through most of it, though, and didn't find any large mistakes to give feedback on.

And I read this out of sheer absurdity of that title. That title is hilarious.

Thanks for the feedback! I was really worried about the grammar thing, good to know it's not that bad ^^

1405766 : I agree that Brood War would be a much better choice, but unfortunately I know next to nothing about it. Still, SC2 can be quite tricky too, especially if one has no experience with RTS games (like me, it took me half a year to just get out of bronze league :twilightsheepish:).

This is just awsome:ajsmug::twilightsmile::raritystarry::pinkiehappy:

Hmm.. I'm a newbie to the whole Starcraft setting, but it interests me. Just trying to slowing complete the singleplayer campaigns, currently doing Terran. But I'll have a look at this, sooner or later.
