Starlight Glimmer gets a mysterious letter saying that her missing mother is alive within the abandoned Playtime Co. Toy Factory. She, along with her friend Trixie, go inside the factory to look for her mother. As they search the old factory, the girls see that there was more going on in the factory than simply making amazing toys. And to make things weirder, they get the feeling that they're being watched.
