This seems nice. Soarindash is my second favorite ship, and this sounds like a fun story, seeing their relationship grow from Soarin's perspective. If the other chapters are like this and we see more moments from the show like this it will be fun, though hopefully we'll see some moments not from the show as they grow closer.

Okay, this was hilarious. It was fun seeing the Wonderbolts reactions to the gala, not just from Rainbow's antics but from all of the Mane 6, especially the disaster at the end. Though I liked the explanation that they could tell that things were going to hell and decided to bail in five minutes, so that's why only Spitfire and Soarin were around by the time the statue fell.

This was a fun surprise. I wasn't expecting a chapter on Hearth’s Warming Eve, since the Wonderbolts never actually appeared in that episode. But it would make sense for them to be part of the crowd seeing the play. The Wonderbolts instantly recognizing Rarity was fun since it shows even if they only met her once she left a big impact on them. But Soarin being smitten by Rainbow was great.
This was also fun since we got to see a lot more of Soarin interacting with the other Wonderbolts in a more casual setting, and their relationships with each other. Like Misty Fly and Fire Streak being a couple and everyone interacting with their fans.
Of course there was also the Wonderbolts teasing Soarin over his obvious attraction to Rainbow, even if he claims it isn't a true crush. Though I love how in the end he denies the teasing of "wanting her to have his babies" yet doesn't deny the "I love you" part.
Given that this is the holidays it is almost too bad Soarin and Rainbow didn't find themselves under some mistletoe during their brief meeting.
Unless you have any more surprise chapters, I think I know which episode is next and I am really looking forward to it.

This is cute. I was looking forward to this, especially thanks to the cover picture of this fanfic. I always enjoy seeing stories showing Rainbow and Soarin together during the Royal Wedding. This wasn't the most romantic version I have ever read of the two of them during the event, but it was still nice seeing them talk, with Rainbow telling him about the Changelings and how they doubted Twilight, and Soarin getting the photo of the two of them together as a souvenir.

THIS IS THE PERFECT MOMENT! The awkwardness because they are not that close yet and rainbow still sees soarin as a wonderbolt and not a friend. I really love how soarin is the one who initiates their interactions because he has a crush on her I MEAN he wants to get to know her better
I like their dynamic right now as fangirl who fangirls but pretends to not fangirl and the idol who has a crush on the fan. Hopefully their relationship gets deeper
