30: The Curse of the Golden Master

The next day after they're little encounter with Tech Wu and the mysterious stranger, Spike and everyone else finally was able to power a hover copter and make it back to New Ninjago City to find out what to do, they all were worried on what they'll be able to do since the enemy has power while they don't, but hopefully with the help of the Serpentine, they may be able to find a way to stop this.

Everyone had soon landed down in the city which was completely shut down without the power, nothing was working properly again, and they couldn't see any of the citizens around the place.
"What happened?" Kai asked with surprise with how abandoned the place looks.

"No power that's what happened!" Cole replied while Spike came up to them with Allison and looked around the place.

"Maybe the people left the city to find a safer place?" Spike suggested which Zane thought was possible.

"It could be, there's nothing currently here for them they could need, right?" Zane asked while Allison shrugged her shoulders.

"Something tells me we're gonna find out in just a few seconds." Allison replied just before Kai suddenly stepped over a wire that was set out ahead of some piled up junk, that that suddenly made it all fall down making them all gasp seeing it.

"Called it!" Allison shouted proudly while they saw the people finally coming out, wearing weird clothing and holding basic weapons like they were in an apocalypse setting.

"Outsider's must answer to the postman!" One of them shouted as they looked over to him who held a single spoon as a weapon before he looked at all of them.

"Return.. to.. sender!" He screamed making everyone else cheer seeing it while the other's were just confused on what's going on.

"Ugh, it's not even been a week people! Thank goodness Equestria doesn't have tech like this! Can't imagine the fillies getting too attached to devices like the ones here!" Spike complained while slapping his face.

"Honestly, I'd rather be there if it doesn't have stuff making people think like this." Kai agreed as they looked above them again.

"Eh, for now they won't. Give em a few centuries or so, and maybe they'll develop similar tech." Jay said with a shrug which Spike just shook his head at.

And thankfully, they saw an old friend of theirs come out while looking annoyed of the people's antics.
"Thank goodness you've all made it! Don't mind these savages, since the power went out, everyone's grown a bit bored, and their imagination knows no bounds." Borg apologized while he went over to them before looking surprised seeing Pixal was still functional.

"P.. Pixal! Amazing! Your.. powered!" Borg said with amazement as another one of the people was complaining about something.

"You need to stay in character Borg, this is no fun if we're not all committed." The postman said while Borg was annoyed hearing it.

"Ugh, I'll have you all committed if you don't leave us at once! Now shoo! We have real problems to address!" Borg ordered which made them all begin to leave so they can talk about what's happened.

"Pixal, what's powering you?" Borg asked with surprise as she went over to him for an explanation.

"Zane gave me half of his heart." Pixal answered making Borg look extremely grateful for hearing about it.

"Thank you Zane, I am greatly indebted. But unfortunately, the hardrive with the digital imprint of the Overlord. You'll be unable to erase him with your Techno Blades until we find it." Borg said regretfully while Spike didn't find that concerning right now.

"Don't worry about it, we got into a little encounter with someone who left behind a little clue for us, right Jay?" Spike asked while he looked at him who held out the scale.

"Spike's right, we may have found who stole it already, and they left behind this scale! Get this, their Serpentine!" Jay said with fascination while Allison was concerned about seeing them all again.

"And they might have answers to who it is, and we may know where to find them." Allison said as Cole opened up a manhole cover for them to climb down.

"And that would be within a tomb that's right under the city! It shouldn't be hard for us to find!" Cole said hopefully while they began to climb down.

"Maybe this figure's related to Allison in a way?" Spike suggested which Kai didn't find likely.

"We won't know until we find out who they are, let's hope the Serpentine know." Kai replied while they began climbing down as Borg gave them a little warning.

"Approach with caution my friends! I've lost a few valuable prototypes, they're likely armed and very dangerous." Borg warned as Allison was the next to climb down.

"It's likely he'll be using those prototypes against us! But don't worry, we'll keep an eye out for him!" Allison assured while she climbed down next for Jay to get in too.

"And uh for the record Borg? When those prototypes are made available to the public? Could you let me know? They're like the coolest gadgets ever!" Jay said gleefully as Kai shook his head hearing that.

But just before Pixal went down with them too, Borg took notice of this and was wanting to stop her for a moment.
"Uh, Pixal? Where are you going? Now that my assistant has an unlimited power supply, there's an infinite amount of good to be done." Borg reminded which Pixal was conflicted on, but Zane wanted to help assure her about this idea.

"Don't worry, we'll all be fine Pixal, if Borg has ways to help us that requires your help, it's best you go with him." Zane said with a smile which she could see was true before she turned to Borg.

"As you wish Mr. Borg. Be careful Zane." Pixal prayed as they began to leave, and they looked at eachother one more time before Zane closed the manhole cover so they could keep climbing down.

It was pretty cramped for them to climb down right now with how many there are, but it didn't get much better when Cole started to talk to Nya which Spike knew Jay wouldn't like.
"Be careful to watch your step Nya! We don't know when this ladder was used." Cole said politely which she smiled at a bit.

"That's thoughtful of you Cole." Nya said with a smile while Jay was getting annoyed about all of that.

"Why don't you watch your step Cole?! Huh?!" Jay countered just as Nya slipped on a bar that almost made her fall down.

"Uh guys? A little help?!" Nya asked with fear as they kept arguing about this.

"Oh is that a threat Jay? Cause coming from you, that sounds like your best material!" Cole countered while he laughed sarcastically hearing it.

"There's a reason no body liked you!" Jay countered as Spike slammed his face against the ladder out of frustration.

"Can you two please shut up?!" Spike shouted with anger just as the bar broke which made Nya fall down while screaming until she hit the floor, and everyone stayed silent for just a moment after hearing that.

"Ugh, I can't believe it was a stupid algorithm that caused all of this!" Allison hissed while they all landed down while looking annoyed.

"It was his fault!!" Cole and Jay shouted at once while pointing at eachother while Nya was very annoyed seeing it.

"My knight's in shinning armor!" Nya said with annoyance as Spike helped her up while shaking his head at this.

"You were right, this macho stuff has made them look like idiots huh?" Spike asked while crossing his arms as they backed away from eachother and took out some glowsticks for light in this dark sewer system.

"The Serpentine, I never thought I'd see them again aside from Allison." Cole said as they were all concerned on how this would go.

"Yeah, we haven't seen them since Garmadon was still in charge of them, they got sealed in a tomb somewhere around here after the Stone Army escaped, kinda sad to think that they've been stuck underground again for years." Spike said with some guilt for what's happened to them.

"To be fair Spike, they've been causing nothing but problems before they got sealed down here again, so you could take this as a kind of irony for what they've done right?" Jay suggested which Zane was conflicted on.

"We don't know their side of the story Jay, we may have fought against them for some time when Pythor was in charge, but while we know our side of the story, we don't know theirs, and the reasons for why they did it." Zane pointed out which Allison did agree with.

"It's true, we didn't know that much about them before they were entombed again, we've been too busy to properly learn about them. And now that we're coming to meet them again, I'm just worried over how this is gonna go." Allison said with concern for their future encounter.

Spike could see where she was coming from, he's raised her as his father for years, and she's barely had proper interactions with her kind outside of some fights after she got aged up, and can't even use her Anacondrai ability's still, even then, they still don't know how she was in the Toxic Bogs as an egg in the first place.
"You think they could've changed overtime? Maybe take in this defeat as a lesson for them to take to heart?" Spike asked hopefully which everyone had mixed feelings about.

"I hope so, I've still know little to nothing about our kind, even after you've raised me, I still wish to know a bit more about them, maybe if I do, that'll be what helps me learn Spinjitzu finally." Allison said with hope while Spike patted her shoulder.

"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll find a way to talk with them, holding onto a grudge is never a good thing, it can destroy you the longer you hold onto it, and it'll only make your life worse because of it." Spike assured while Nya walked besides them too after hearing it.

"Maybe they've changed Allison, and if they have, maybe we could convince them about giving you a proper education on their kind?" Nya suggested while Allison looked down and thought over it.

"I hope so, while I'm really glad to have you all as my family, I still have much to learn, there's still a lot left unanswered, and maybe this will help me see things better." Allison replied as they were getting deeper into the sewer system.

"Don't worry Allison, we'll find the answers one day, count on it." Cole said confidently while he clutched his fist a bit.

"We'll all be there for you Allison, whenever you need it, we're always right besides you." Zane said with a smile which Allison was really grateful to hear.

"Thank you Uncle Zane, I'm just glad we all get to see this together." Allison said with a smile while they used the sticks to light their way through the place.

"Me too Allison, let's just hold onto hope." Spike said as they kept moving, and went deeper into the place by the minute.

"I hope Lloyd's doing alright." Jay prayed while they stayed silent so they can focus.

But as this was happening, the mysterious figure was working on ways to track the Golden Ninja while the Overlord was getting very impatient about how long it's been taking.
"We know where the Golden Ninja is! So why are we not doing anything about it?! I must escape this wretched digital prison! " Overlord shouted with frustration as the figure looked over to him with a calm expression.

"Patience, the Golden Ninja won't go down without a fight, and we've already depleted our Electro Cobrai. Before we take his Golden Power, we need more power of our own." The figure said while looking over to a container of the creatures they've used before.

"Then find more! Once I am free of this digital prison, I will rid the scourge that is the Ninja! And I will walk with the power to rule this world.. and beyond!" Overlord shouted with malice as the figure had a flier for an aquarium that has what he needs.

"Don't worry, I'm one step ahead of you." The figure replied as he looked at it with a sinister plan in mind.

Far away with Lloyd and Garmadon, the two were making they're way through the massive jungle around them, it was very dense and hard to navigate, but hopefully while they're here, it'll be a safe place for them to hide.
"How anyone got through this jungle is beyond me." Lloyd said as he brushed past some bushes in front of them.

"Hiroshi's labyrinth, legend says no one has ever escaped it's deadly maze, except for Hiroshi himself. But the maze is no match for your powers, this is the perfect place to hide from the Overlord's clutches." Garmadon said as they looked around the place while Lloyd was frustrated hearing that.

"Hide, that's all I ever seem to do!" Lloyd complained while Garmadon looked at him to give him more advise again.

"Your Golden Power only strengthens his cause, we must not lose sight." Garmadon reminded while Lloyd sighed sadly with how far they are from his home.

"But I miss my friends, what good is being all powerful if I can't ever have any fun?" Lloyd asked as he couldn't understand this right now.

"Your Golden Power needs to be protected, honored. Evil forces will seek it, try to take it for they're own. Even your friends might one day." Garmadon warned which Lloyd didn't believe one bit.

"My friends would never hurt me! Spike's the one who defeated the Overlord alongside me! He and everyone would never do this!" Lloyd refused while Garmadon tried helping him understand.

"He who holds the power has a tremendous obligation. You must be prepared to handle this journey alone, even without me someday.." Garmadon said with a calm look as Lloyd was worried about the day that could come.

"Yeah.. I know.." Lloyd said with a sad look as Garmadon looked around to help encourage him.

"Keep your chin up son, legend also says there is a jewel inside this maze. The most beautiful oasis no one has ever seen before. Perhaps we will be the first." Garmadon encouraged as they kept moving forward.

Spike and everyone else had soon made it to the tomb where the Stone Army was once sealed, and was now the place where the Serpentine reside now, while they thought the tomb would still be closed, it was actually opened up, possibly sometime after the Overlord was defeated.
"The Tomb of the Stone Army. It's been sealed since the Serpentine were trapped here." Kai said as they took a closer look at the thing.

"But it appears the seal has been opened." Zane added as the door was slightly cracked open for one to walk out of.

"Wait, if that's true, then doesn't that mean..?" Allison asked right as they heard a whistle behind them, and as they turned around, they suddenly saw Scales was returning home with a bag of supplies, and even he was surprised to see them all here again after so long.

"Ah! Not you again!" Scales shouted with surprise while everyone got on their guard seeing him again.

"Scales! Something told me you'd be behind this! Search his bag!" Cole instructed which the other's were about to do, but Allison came in front of him to prevent any harm.

"Wait, stop guys! Scales isn't looking like he's carrying anything suspicious, all I see in that bag are just.. groceries." Allison said as she peaked in it for a moment while Scales pulled away to defend himself.

"It appears at least one of you knows better then to try and rob someone! What are you all even doing here?" Scales asked while Spike walked up to him to explain things.

"Sorry about this, but we came here for answers. We found this strange scale that belonged to a figure who could be Serpentine, they stole a hardrive we need. " Spike said as he held out the scale they picked up earlier.

"Sorry to disappoint you, but the Serpentine haven't left this tomb even after it was opened again! We've sworn off starting conflicts again after our little battle with the Stone Army, sorry, you've got the wrong snake, dragon." Scales said while he pushed past him while Allison was surprised hearing that.

"At least he wasn't the one who stole it." Allison said to Jay who was still confused over this.

"Yeah but, if Scales didn't steal the hardrive, then who did?" Jay questioned again just until they heard someone new come out of the door.

"Daddy? Are you okay?" A small Serpentine asked while a pink Serpentine who looked to be his mother came out with him.

"Stay inside Scales Jr." She advised while everyone was surprised hearing that.

"Scales Jr? Uh.. you have a son?" Kai asked with surprise as he went over to his new family.

"Yes, we've been busy since you all left us. And we prefer to keep it that way. " Scales said as he turned back to them while being besides his family.

"Is this about the Golden Master? Is he going to hurt us?" Scales Jr asked with a worried look while hugging him tightly.

"That is only a story son. They were all just leaving." Scales replied while glaring at them all who were caught off guard hearing that last part.

"Golden Master? Is this about Lloyd?" Zane asked with an upset look hearing it.

"Like you, we have our own legends. But I guess in ours, you are the bad guys." Scales hissed making all of them very concerned over it.

"What legend?" Nya asked again while Scale's wife went to convince him about what they mean.

"They have a right to know. If we're going to shed a new skin, we must open our home to others. Besides, they have a young Anacondrai with them too, it's important she knows of our legends as well." She said while looking to Allison who stayed near Spike, and Scales soon decided it was best to let them know.

"Oh alright, Let's go surface dwellers, if you wish to hear of the Curse of the Golden Master." Scales advised while he slithered into the tomb.

"I don't like the looks of this guys, but it's best we see what they have to say." Kai said while they started walking into the place while Allison was hopeful to learn more about her kind.

"I'm just glad we don't have to fight them again, guess all this time in the tomb really changed them." Allison said with a relieved look knowing this.

"Me too Allison, hopefully once this is over, we can get them to teach you more about being an Anacondrai. For now, let's find out what this curse is." Spike said while they went inside to see what's going on.

But back within the surface, Darreth and a bunch of the students from school were going on another fieldtrip to the Aquarium in the city, it's the only place they can go to at this time, and a lot of them were excited to see the sea creatures inside.
"We may not have power, but we still have sea creatures!" The owner announced as the kids ran inside the place with Darreth right behind them.

"All right everyone! Stay together, come on now!" Darreth shouted as he tried getting the students together for this trip.

"Why do we have to do our field trip at the Aquarium? Why can't we go to the Toxic Bogs or somewhere that isn't so lame?" Brad asked with an annoyed look while crossing his arms.

"Because until your teacher's get back from saving the world, I'm in charge, and have the responsibility of making sure nothing happens to you! Now, single file." Darreth instructed after he combed his hair a bit, and all the kids started making they're way through the gate in front of them.

"Did I ever tell you I am fluent in the language of the sea?" Darreth asked as a little girl was about to walk through before looking up at him.

"Right Mr. Darreth." She said with a smile while he shrugged his shoulder's a bit.

"That's Mr. Brown Ninja to you Sally." Darreth replied just as she went past the gate with him following behind, but none of them noticed something had went past it too, meaning they weren't alone..

The kids were currently looking at the fish around the water in the Aquarium, and one of them got scared just as a shark jumped in and ate a fish completely while the rest of them ran away.
"Whoa! And I thought Mr. Darreth had a big mouth!" The kid said with surprise while Darreth was annoyed hearing it.

"I heard that!" Darreth shouted just before he looked at a guard to ask for directions.

"Excuse me. Which way to the Electro Cobrai Exhibit? I hear it's.. shocking." Darreth joked which he sighed at after hearing that bad pun.

"That way." He replied while pointing ahead of them.

"Alright, alright my precious minnows! Come on, follow me!" Darreth announced while he ran ahead with the other students running behind him while cheering with joy. But just as they were making they're way to it, the guard suddenly saw a strange figure appear out of nowhere which completely surprised him.

"Hey! You! Come here!" He shouted as he was about to catch him before he vanished again, and he couldn't find where he was now.

"Whoa.. Shocking!" He said with surprise as he went to press on the alarm button, but because they didn't have power, it was basically useless, but he got an idea on how to alert the students in the other room.

"Alarm! Alarm!!" He screamed through the halls which Darreth and the other kids heard which got them worried over what it is.

"What is it?" Sally asked with fear as Darreth stood in front of her for what they're about to face.

"The sound of danger! Huddle near child!" Darreth warned while she stayed close to him just as the strange figure appeared nearby, and opened up another manhole cover for something.

"Hey! Your not one of my students!" Darreth shouted as the kids turned around while the figure chuckled sinisterly.

"No, no I am not.." The figure said before they took out a whistle and blew it, and that made a really loud sound which made them all scream as they covered they're ears. But that loud sound had made the glass in front of them crack until it completely broke open, sending a ton water falling down on them making them all scream with fear.

"Hold on my minnows! Hold on!!" Darreth screamed as the Electro Cobrai were being sucked down the manhole to somewhere unknown, but what made it worse is that a shark had noticed Sally, and began to approach her which terrified her.

"Help!!" Sally screamed while Darreth tried to get to her quickly.

"I've got you sally!" Darreth shouted as he swam over to her to bring her to the other students, but just as the shark was about to attack them, Darreth stood in front of them to protect them.

"Stand back kids!" Darreth warned as the shark was about to attack, but Darreth had suddenly stopped it completely with his hand, and he started to make strange noises while moving his arms around, like he was speaking to it directly, and whatever he said worked, because it made the shark quickly turn around and swim away while looking terrified.

All of the kids cheered for Darreth and were completely surprised that actually worked, and with them safe, they started to climb out of the water to get out of the place.
"Thank you for saving me! You really can speak to them! What did you say?" Sally asked with amazement while Darreth caught his breath.

"I told him.. leave the Brown Ninja alone.. or else I'd be serving fish sticks." Darreth replied as they walked out of the place, but they hadn't noticed the rest of the Electro Cobrai sinking into the manhole cover the figure had opened, and far into the sewers, the figure had set it up as a trap in order to give them the power they need.

"The heist is complete, we now have enough power, to go after the Golden Ninja." The figure said to the Overlord who was pleased to know this.

"Good.." He said sinisterly as they both began to laugh like maniacs as the boat they were on began swimming off to find Lloyd and Garmadon..

Back with Spike and everyone else, they were being shown around the Serpentine tomb that was now their new home, what was once an empty, lifeless tomb filled with nothing but stone, was now a lush and perfectly build sanctuary for any Serpentine who would want to live here, Allison and Spike especially were amazed with how this place looks, and felt really glad that the Serpentine had found a nice home here after they're last encounter.
"After we lost that battle with those indestructible Stone Warrior's, we've made amends with our warring past, and found ways to help better ourselves." Scales explained while they were surprised seeing so many snakes have given up they're violent ways.

"Wow, this is really amazing Scales, this really looks like a perfect home for our kind.." Allison said as she slithered near him who agreed with her.

"It may not be perfect, but it's a home for all of us now, you were raised by that dragon, Spike right? I would like to thank him for taking care of you, raising a Serpentine isn't easy, especially an Anacondrai." Scales said while turning to Spike who nodded respectfully hearing it.

"Wasn't just gonna let her egg be left there alone, she needed someone to take care of her, and I took that responsibility, Twilight would be proud of how I've raised her." Spike said with a smile while he put his hand over Allison's shoulder who was happy to hear that from him.

"She really would dad, but I.. have to ask, do you or anyone here knows why I was abandoned in the first place? By the time Spike found me, all of you were freed right?" Allison asked while Scales found that hard to answer.

"I'm afraid none of us know why your egg was there, we didn't even realize there was a child abandoned until we saw Spike holding you, I'm sorry, but there's no one here who knows what happened. But, even if it's quite a stretch, it's possible an Anacondrai wasn't sealed with us decades ago, and they may be out there in Ninjago, hiding in a safe place for them." Scales replied to hopefully encourage her, and it only made her question more on why this even happened.

"Then why was I left alone?" Allison asked sadly while Spike hugged her to calm her down.

"It's okay Allison.. I still question that about me when I was an egg too, but at least we have eachother right?" Spike asked with a smile which she was glad to hear.

"Of course daddy.." Allison said as they kept moving, and Scales looked at the two again, feeling grateful she was raised by him.

As they kept moving through the tomb, they kept asking Scales about what's been going on, and if any of them know about the hardrive.
"So Scales, we were hoping to ask, do you or any of the Serpentine here have any idea on where we can find a snake with a white scale like this? Don't Fangpyre's have white scales?" Kai asked while he held the thing out again.

"A few do, but what is so important about this missing hardrive?" Scales asked while Cole went up to answer.

"it contains a digital imprint of the Overlord." Cole answered which really surprised him hearing at.

"Ah the Overlord! I am so glad we weren't around for that mess. But unfortunately, we don't know anything about it, we have no desire in meddling with the affairs above. We like to stick to our own now, and we only want what's best for the next generation." Scales answered while he brought them over to a fire with a few special rocks with drawings on them for answers.

"Have a seat. You could learn a thing or two about your beloved, Golden Master. "Scales said as they all started to sit down, and they soon saw Acidius come up to them in order to tell the story.

"Hello hatchlings, and camouflaged surface dwellers, do you seek to learn about The Curse of The Golden Master?" Acidius hissed while he came up to them.

"Please do sir." Allison said politely which everyone nodded at to hear it too.

"Then everyone, come closer.." Acidius said as they looked closer at the fire before he spat some venom in it to show them a vision.

Everyone begins to see a story of the Serpentine's creation, and how everything had gone from they're perspective while most of the background was on fire.
"When the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago, deep in the ground, he created the Serpentine." Acidius narrated while they saw their creation first hand in front of them before moving forward.

"Since the first dawn, our Elders knew of the Curse of the Golden Master. When he who had the powers equal to the Frist Spinjitzu Master would rise and usher in the last of the setting suns." Acidius continued while they saw a strange figure arise in the background with power unlike any other, and it began raining down lightning and chaos onto them as a warning.

"With no equal adversary, his power would go unmatched, and his destructive rule, will change the fate of the world. And he will not stop, until every man, woman and Serpentine are enslaved under his control!" Acidius said as we cut back to reality where everyone was completely shocked hearing this dark story.

"Is he referring to Lloyd?" Zane asked with surprise while everyone stayed silent as the story went on some more.

"The Serpentine tried to warn the land dwellers, but they wouldn't listen. They thought we were the enemy, though we were only trying to prevent the prophecy of the Golden Master's terrible reign." Acidius continued as they see the Serpentine being driven underground by the people they tried to warn them before they saw a last vision after the destruction of the Great Devourer.

"When the Great Devourer failed to scare the unbelievers below ground, it is we who retreated beneath the soil, promising never to return, even now, the end is inevitable." Acidius finished as they see them go underground, with the shadow of the Golden Master looming over all of them sinisterly.

But as a screen flickers, we cut back to Borg and Pixal after they made it back to the tower to get to work, Borg was hooking Pixal and the power she has up to his monitor's so he could figure out a way to stop this, and they were very close to making it work.
"First, patch into the mainframe.." Borg told himself before he pressed on a switch which began transferring the power in without any corruption which made things better for them.

"Success! Suppress bandwidth for wider connection.. and we have power!" Borg cheered as the screens finally came on after a long time of work.

"By glory's grace, my office has clean, untouched by evil, power! Thank you." Borg said gratefully while he looked at Pixal who was still thinking over all of this.

"Now, we can use this to track the Nindroids presence! They won't see us coming!" Borg said confidently before Pixal suddenly spoke up.

"Sir, you created me and gave me life, I belong to you. Yet Zane.. saved my life, when I was with him.. I felt.. a connection. I felt.. free." Pixal said as she couldn't stop thinking over him while Borg smiled calmly hearing this.

"Pixal, remember this. You belong to no one. If you want to be with Zane, you should be with him." Borg assured which she was grateful to hear.

But just then, something came up on the monitors, and Borg quickly became concerned upon detecting it.
"What? Nindroid power signatures?! Impossible! It says they're right here!" Borg said with fear as they saw multiple red dots appearing on the screen with even more being seen by the second.

"12 feet, 8 feet.. t.. this makes no sense!" Borg said with concern just as Pixal had realized what this could mean.

"Unless they're.. beneath us.." Pixal suggested which Borg realized is true, and as the camera pins back down to the ground below, Spike and everyone else were discussing about what they've learned.

"I can't believe they think Lloyd would become the Golden Master." Kai said with shock on what they've learned.

"Well.. he is the son of Lord Garmadon." Jay pointed out while he leaned on a small post.

"If.. Lloyd is said to turn evil from the power he has.. does that mean.. I may have to fight him at some point? I.. still have control over your guys's powers.." Spike asked with fear while he formed some crystal in his hand, and the crystal shifted color's to represent each of they're power.

"I hope not Spike, you and Lloyd did so much to save Ninjago. The last thing I want is for us to fight him." Cole replied while he pat his back, and Allison looked around the place and questioned on why she was abandoned again.

"This was all a lot to take in.. and even with what we learned, none of them know about why I was abandoned, do you think something left me there before, or during the last fight you had with them?" Allison asked while looking worried over it.

"I don't know Allison.. we all don't.. I don't know how to explain it.." Spike replied while they both were worried over this.

"But the thing I want to know is... if none of them stole the hardrive, then who could it be?" Nya questioned which they couldn't figure out.

But before they could keep talking, a Venomari came out after noticing something from the entrance, and he looked very scared on what's coming.
"We're under attack! Protect the young!" The Serpentine screamed as they saw Serpentine running away from Nindroids who had found out where they were.

"Nindroids!" Cole screamed as they saw the Serpentine taking the younger ones somewhere safe as they swarmed into the place.

"Ugh, these toasters don't know when to quit!" Jay said with frustration while Allison got very angry seeing them attack her kind.

"We can't just let them attack this place! We need to take them down!" Allison shouted while she drew her weapon while Spike readied his powers.

"They have no involvement in this! Let's take them down!" Spike shouted as he and Allison started running to them to take them down.

"I can't believe I'm saying this.. but.. protect the Serpentine!" Kai shouted while everyone put on their masks

"Ninja go!!" All of them screamed while they used Spinjitzu again, and Zane unfortunately was left behind since he still can't fight properly.

"If only I could use Spinjitzu.. without Pixal my technique is barely adequate.." Zane said with frustration while Scales came up to him and was very mad on what's going on.

"What evil have you brought here?!" Scales shouted with anger while towering over him.

"Sorry about that! We didn't know we were being followed!" Zane apologized as they looked at the other's who were fighting them off.

Nya took out a metal fan she had and was using it to deflect a sword from one of them, but within the whole conflict, Scale's family was separated and was trying to get to eachother again.

"Junior! Junior!" The Serpentine screamed as Scales Jr tried running up to her.

"Mommy!" Scales Jr screamed just before Cryptor came in between them and tripped him over while laughing mockingly.

"So your the future of the fearless Serpentine?" Cryptor asked mockingly while Scales Jr cowered beneath him, but before Cryptor could do any harm, Allison came in and tail whipped him far away while twirling her spear to keep him safe.

"Don't even think about harming him!" Allison screamed while she helped him up and helped him get to his mother.

"Get somewhere safe, I'll handle this!" Allison instructed while she held Scales Jr close.

"Thank you!" She said gratefully before she ran away, and Allison soon turned back to a group of Nindroids who were surrounding her, Allison took a deep breath and took in the training she's gone through with her father, and after they drew they're weapons, she stood her ground to fight them off.

"No one harms my kind!" Allison shouted while she charged towards them and fought them off, she quickly blocked one of their swords with her spear before she used her strength and ripped off it's arm, she then wrapped her tail around it and threw him into the one right next to it, before she quickly ducked under a slash and turned around to block one more that almost hit her.

Allison hissed with rage and could feel her Anacondrai strength helping her, she quickly parried their attacks and jumped in the air, twirling around and holding out her spear, she quickly spun around and sliced some more of them apart, after she landed on the ground, she did a backflip over some lasers coming from behind her and soon landed behind one more.

Spike was holding one of the Nindroids off with his claws, but as he saw Allison fighting off the Nindroids, he looked really proud for her and started to use his own powers too.
"That's it! Kick they're butts Allison!" Spike shouted before he used his Crystal powers and combined it with Ice, and he shot a large spiked crystal from his hand which froze the Nindroid in place, and Spike only lightly tapped it with his foot afterward which made it fell over, and shattered completely like glass.

"Heh, Twilight and the others would be so jealous of this." Spike said with a smirk as he formed some crystal in his claws before he shot them at more Nindroids which took them down instantly.

Allison was using her fast reflexes to block each attack, the more that came to her, she just got faster and faster with her reactions, and after one more backflip, Allison landed on the ground, and took a deep breath to focus her mind.
"Okay.. let's try this.." Allison told herself before she held her hands together as the Nindroids charged to her, but just before they attacked, Allison suddenly vanished before them which caught them off guard, and as the rest of the ninja were fighting on, all of them noticed her vanish, and realized what it was.

"Guys, I think Allison just turned invisible! She actually did it!" Jay said with shock while they saw the Nindroids being taken down by something they couldn't see currently.

"Yes! Way to go Allison!" Spike shouted proudly as Allison reappeared behind one of them and grabbed it with one hand, and just as she was about to throw it, she noticed something on their backs, a wire with an Electro Cobrai in a container, and that's when she had an idea on what's going on.

"So this is how they're still being powered." Allison said with surprise before she grabbed the wire and ripped it out with all her strength, and just like she thought, that made the Nindroid power down, and fall over, and as she looked at the other Nindroids, she smirked upon finding they're weakness.

"Guys! The Nindroids are being powered by Electro Cobrai! Rip out the wires on they're backs!" Allison screamed while she ripped off a few more, and Cole was able to take notice of the wire behind one more that tried to attack him, and after quickly spinning around it, he ripped the wire off and shut it down just like the others.

"She's right! That's what's powering them! You guys know what to do!" Cole shouted as all of them stood together to take them all down.

"Ninja.. go!!" Spike and the other's screamed while they used Spinjitzu again and spun around the entire tomb, ripping out each and every wire on the Nindroids backs which shut them all down, just before one slashed at Jay, Nya managed to rip it out when it wasn't looking, and Jay only chuckled at that before he elbowed one of them, which began making all of them fall over in a straight line like dominos.

"Finally!" Spike said with relief while Allison landed down near him, and was still amazed that she actually was able to turn invisible after years of struggling to find out how to do it.

"Did you see me? I actually turned invisible! Just like Pythor was able to! I felt so strong, fast, and could take any that tried attacking me! It was incredible!" Allison said with amazement while Spike gave her a hug while having a proud smile.

"You've really grown Allison, you've come a long way since you were hatched. While we may not know how you were abandoned, just know I'm always proud of you, what you did here today was amazing, and I won't forget it." Spike said as she hugged him back while looking very proud of herself too.

"Thank you daddy.. " Allison said gratefully while everyone else was cheering upon defeating the Nindroids.

But just before Zane went up to them, something grabbed his hand, and upon looking down, he saw the Overlord had taken over one Nindroid who was still powered and was glaring at him with a purple eye.
"Foolish Nindroid! You are helping the wrong side!" Overlord shouted as Zane kicked him away upon hearing his voice.

"The Overlord? You'll never succeed! Not if we have anything to say about it!" Zane declared while looking down at him.

"I already have..." Overlord replied while laughing sinisterly before continuing on.

"You've unknowingly lead me straight to the Golden Ninja. And this... was merely a diversion to keep you all busy!" Overlord said as he laughed even more before Zane had enough, and he quickly ripped out the cord to finally shut him up.

"The boy holds too much power! I fear the Curse of the Golden Master may be upon us!" Scales said with fear while Acidius was afraid of what is to happen too.

"The dawn of the end of times is near." Acidius said with fear while Nya walked up to him.

"We have to get to Lloyd before they do! Are you sure you don't want to help?" Nya asked with worry while Scales looked regretful to answer.

"I'm sorry, but we made an oath never to return to the surface. Good luck." Scales said as they were all starting to leave before Scales stopped them after remembering something important.

"One more thing! There's only one Serpentine I know who's admitted to having a fondness, of using rare creatures such as Electro Cobra!" Scales warned which got all of them interested.

"Who?!" They all asked at once as Scales was about to reveal who he was.

But as we cut back to Hiroshi's Labyrinth with Lloyd and Garmadon, they had made their way through it for quite a while, but after a while of searching, they soon came upon an oasis within the center of the place just like Garmadon had said.
"The Jewel of the labyrinth.." Garmadon said with amazement as they saw a beautiful looking pond with a waterfall just nearby.

"It's.. the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." Lloyd said with awe as they looked around the place.

"Yes. Beauty can be born, even in darkness." Garmadon replied while they took in this moment.

But the sound of buzzsaws could be heard in the distance, and they both instantly knew who they could belong too.
"They've found you! You must leave! Go!" Garmadon shouted as he was about to go up to fight them off while Lloyd was concerned for his safety.

"I said leave!" Garmadon shouted again while turning back to him one more time, and Lloyd quickly ran off while Garmadon turned around, and he soon saw Tech Wu arrive in one of the buzz saw vehicles they used to cut through the place. Garmadon drew his staff and deflected his far tougher one as Lloyd climbed, and he looked super regretful seeing what's happened to him.

"Why must we always be on opposite sides brother?! I made an oath not to fight, but I'll still defeat you!" Garmadon declared before he backed away as they glared at eachother.

The two jumped in the air and deflected eachother's staffs, and Garmadon kept rolling out of the way from Tech Wu's attacks and was using the environment around him to hold him back.

Lloyd climbed up to the cliffside nearby and was about to escape, but more Nindroids had made it there before him and were ready to capture him. But Lloyd had an idea on how to escape, and he began using his powers to create something to help get him out of there.
"No! Trust in the balance!" Garmadon warned just before Lloyd forged a new motorcycle he made from his power with a green and gold color scheme, and as the engine revved up, Lloyd quickly turned around and drove off the ledge and jumped over them before he started driving as fast as he could into the forest.

Lloyd drove at fast speeds through the place and tried avoiding the obstacles coming at him, and just behind him, more Nindroids had appeared and took out the glider's they used to help them fly, and they flew after him while Lloyd tried to dodge they're attacks.

Lloyd rammed his bike into one of them which sent it crashing into a tree nearby, and as he kept driving even faster to dodge all the trees and vines around the place, he managed to shake the last Nindroid off and make it crash into another one.

But Lloyd couldn't rest, and he soon saw dozens of more Nindroids were flying down to attack, he did the best he could to avoid being attacked by them, and as they turned around and chased after him, they started firing lasers at him to take him down, but Lloyd used his power to make his bike go even faster, and the Nindroids all crashed into eachother after he lured them towards eachother.

But just before Lloyd could keep driving more, he had to come to a stop as he almost drove off a cliff that lead into the ocean, but this was all a trap, the same dragon like mech the Overlord used to hunt them down began flying above the cliff, and to Lloyd's fear, he saw Garmadon had been bested by Tech Wu and was being held captive by him.
"Dad!" Lloyd shouted with fear while he took off his mask again.

"Go Lloyd! And don't look back!" Garmadon screamed as he tried to break free, but the Overlord wasn't about to let him escape, and knew what he'd do to surrender.

"Leave, and your father falls!" Overlord threatened as Tech Wu held him over the edge and was about to push him off it. But Lloyd wasn't wanting to run away again, and he jumped off his bike which quickly disappeared after he landed on the ground, he tried to charge up another Energy blast to shoot it down, but when he wasn't looking, a strange snake looking device suddenly coiled around and restrained him, leaving Lloyd unable to fight back.

"No! My power is.. gone!" Lloyd said with terror as he can't break free from it. But as Lloyd turned around, the figure from before had come up to him with a sinister look, and as he finally opened his hood to reveal himself, Lloyd was in complete shock seeing who it was.

"Hello.. old chum!" The figure greeted as he took off his hood, and it was revealed to be none other then..

"Pythor! I thought you were..." Lloyd said with fear before Pythor interrupted him knowing what he's gonna say.

"Gone? Actually, I suffered a worse fate. Digested in the bowels.. of the Devourer.." Pythor said with anger as his scales were completely white and was a result of what happened to him back when he and Wu were eaten years ago while his voice was mostly the same as the last time they saw them.

"It can wreak havoc on one's complexion. Fortunately for Wu, he escaped unscathed.." Pythor hissed while he glared towards Tech Wu who was still holding Garmadon.

"Finally, the Golden Ninja.. is mine! Now, the transformation can be complete!" Overlord shouted as Lloyd was being taken to the ship to begin the process.

"I couldn't leave you, I can't do this alone. I failed you father.." Lloyd said with guilt for what's happened here.

"It's okay son.. it is I who failed..." Garmadon couldn't finish his sentence again before the Overlord had enough of seeing him, and decided he shouldn't be here any longer.

"He is no longer of importance to me. Throw him overboard! " Overlord ordered as Tech Wu was about to push him over the edge.

"No! Father!!" Lloyd screamed with terror just as Garmadon was thrown off the edge and began falling into the ocean, Lloyd could only watch as Garmadon screamed with fear and fell into the ocean, and Lloyd was left devasted thinking his father could be gone.

And as Lloyd was taken aboard the mech which began flying away while the sun was setting, Garmadon had managed to survive the fall, and had swam to the surface moments after, he gasped for air and looked towards the mech, and felt determined to get him back.
"Be strong son. I will find you, I will find you!" Garmadon promised as he saw them fly off with Lloyd being held captive..

Thanks for reading this everyone! Sorry I didn't post much on my stories for the week, but I just needed a bit of a break and wanted to spend time with my family on Thanksgiving, hope you all had a great holiday with yours too!

I think this is the best chapter right now to help Allison start tapping into her Anacondrai ability's, while I'll find a way to have her learn Spinjitzu, and possibly get powers of her own in the future, I hope what I did with her here was good.

I'm glad we at least got to see what happened with the Serpentine after they were sealed away in Season 2, cause it would honestly be sad to think they could've died after being sealed in there forever, but I was glad knowing they had reformed and became peaceful after this episode, I do wish we got more with them in future seasons, it would've been nice seeing Scales and the generals a bit more for just a bit more closure, but I was glad we saw them again in this episode.

I still enjoyed this episode and think it's pretty good, I hope you liked how I handled it here! We're going into the Digiverse for the next chapter, so I hope you all look forward to that. Thank you all for reading this, and have a great Thanksgiving weekend everyone!
