Some time has passed since the CMCs discovered Hope's Asylum, and met the ponies and Kelpie living there, but one in particular, a not-so-young Kirin colt named Blitzen, was somewhat of a fond memory to the girls, especially Sweetie Belle. Still, time and distance changes everypony, and these letters and stories reflect the changes that occur.
What starts as letters eventually brings the Kirin to Ponyville, and there, a whole new world of friends he never knew find him.

Meant as a casual follow-up to my other story, where the CMC find Blitzen and Hope's Asylum. Some teases of young romance are mentioned, but kept at just that. Perhaps future friendshipping as well. Starting around Chapter 4, there is heavy drama and some issues brought out briefly. Just wanted to warn people!

Hmm what else...oh, the rating! Its rated on the safe side, as their may be innuendo that I believe is rather pushing it. I sort of didn't want it to be teen, but sadly there is no "PG" rating either. No matter, better safe than sorry.
I plan on making Blitzen arrive in Ponyville around Chapter three, and from there, the adventure begins! his visit will probably be no more than two weeks total. What about Fluttershy's adventure in Baltimare? I may write that later, in a separate story!

One day! My goal is to make good stories, and then, followers will come! Hell, half the stories I read were from comments I liked and stories by said authors. Yes, Dragon Calls are sort of based of Skyrim, but modified with Dragon lore I had been reading up on. Dragons seem to have their own rules regarding magic within them, so I felt it necessary to bring that up. That said, it is very limiting, and Blitzen isn't about to replace Fluttershy anytime soon.
I was so happy to write that scene with Sweetie Belle! Some may comment: But no one that age goes up and kisses crushes! I say to them, my two sisters highly disagree, and were very kissy when they were about 8-11 years old. It was somewhat disturbing, but cute in its own way.

Commentary: I want to make clear in this chapter, that there are indeed issues with Blitzen's sister. If you are to ask about what those are, it is a little spoilery, but it is based upon resentment. Anyway, yes, I sort of made Silhouette disappear, but I sort of had to, as she kept getting in my way while I was writing, and tended to make the story about her, not lil Blitzy.

Oh that...well, I honestly believe Pinkie's past is that, the past. In my other stories, I tend to have Pinkie explain backstory to a character off-focus a lot. It isn't for me to write. I actually have read great stories about Pinkie's past, from being abused, to being in a loving family who couldn't care for her partying needs. I might recommend some later, but for now, it IS NOT important to the story, just between the two characters. Oh, yes, Pinkie does see herself as a mother to the Kirin especially after he told her about himself first. and trust me, she will have him confess things to the others
I couldn't pass up the scene with Rainbow, and yes, a little tease about Rainbow and Gilda. I honestly believe Dash is very much open sexually, BUT I shall gladly respect those who have other theories. I am thinking about a dramatic story involving the two soon, but only after this story is done, and PD Pie has resumed.
Oh why did I make Blitzen know so much about sex? Simple, he has been around it all his life in one way or another, and his Sister, being the way she is, told him. Hmm, anyway, the other comments I wanted to add were that I figured I had to established what Blitzen's relationship would be with Diamond Tiara, and Silver Spoon, at first, I wanted him to get along with everypony, but I remembered something. Diamond Tiara really doesn't like Sweetie or Apple, and especially Scoots. It was easy to make her the bad girl, but Silver Spoon, I have a soft spot for. Plus, she is a cute filly!
That said, it was easy to bring Snips and Snails in. I chose Rumble and Featherweight, as they were my most recent memories of colts in the show too. Plus Rumble's mane is cool.

A few comments about this Chapter: I made Kirin a typical colt in most forms of the way, but one exception I made was he has lived a long time, and as such, he is a curious pony by nature. He found out about serious things like sex and relationships from those around him, BUT, he never learned social norms, as his Sister never taught him those. She expected him to always ask him things, and obey her like his own mother. This is why I included that awkward conversation. Plus, I forgot Silhouette couldn't have left yet, so a small cameo explaining why she is the way she is, and freaking out over a drama queen like Rarity.
The Derpy scene was a reflection of innocence Blitzy has. He truly feels Ponies and non Ponies should live together, and that uniqueness is a good thing. The derped eyes are no exception, although I feared after this chapter I couldn't make him look at other mares anymore. It was getting out of hand! Concerning meeting Twilight, I had hoped nothing would have happened, but I gave it some thought, and rather than having him freak out in the middle of town (like my original draft had proposed) I figured a accidental hurting of a highly regarded figure would see to it Blitzen would injure himself. It is explained in a couple chapters, but what happened was, fearing he may kill Spike by shocking him, he absorbs the electric power within himself. He is not breathing right, because he nearly killed himself.
This isn't some sort of sacrifice or whatever, no, he truly fears punishment! I hope I established that he is far from perfect. He was abused, and very stunted, but happens to control elemental power, in a colt's body. The scars will be explained next chapter, in great detail, so warning, it is rather sad and partly why I add a Tragedy tag...=/ The other reason, is what happens to a friend of his to save him.
To those who hate I teased a Spike Rarity shipping? I didn't mean to,m it just happened..I like Spike, he should get anypony he wants! =p
Commentary. I hated writing about Blitzen and his Sister. I really did. I teased it for so long, and now you know what she did. THIS is why I had to hold back PD Pie! The Rapi in that story works with Celestia, and Luna, this version would probably try to murder her!
I also wanted to bring up the connection to the Opliptera (or bat-ponies). A clan was given Sanctuary for them within Hope's Asylum, in exchange for their expert tracking skills. They found Blitzen, and Rapi paid them back more than they did. She truly was thankful, but was over-protective. This is where she was wrong.
Anyway, this clan stayed for year, until Nightmare Moon was defeated, and Luna came back to them. A few stayed, but many went to serve. This clan has a debt the Rapi, but it does extend to Blitzen as well. This connection will be explained further, but I do want to point out, Rapi has, all Blitzen's life, told him to pray to Luna, never Celestia. I shan't say more ;p
The binding...I know people will hate this, and the next chapter when you find out what this entails, but other than destroying their friendship, and sending him back, I had to establish a reason why he could stay, and yes, I sense MANY will think that magic is bull!
Remember, it is Dragon Magic, and meant for their long lives, not for young ponies. I hope to explain why this cost had to be paid very soon. (the next chapter is done, but my prereader is working today!)
For technical character aspects, I modelled Kelpie after the Pyromancer Quelaana of Izalith (yes another Dark Souls' reference) personality. She lives now to pay back her great number of Sins, for she has many.....

Yes, I am very apprehensive about this chapter, partly, because I know the potential reaction to what the hell binding entails, and partly, because such a young filly has to grow up so quickly. It was one of two favored o outcomes the other was having Blitzy be dedicated to Luna, as a Guardian Kirin or something, but honestly, as this story is about Sweetie and him, I chose this route.
I fully expect people to call me out, but, I stand by the decision. What impact this will have in the future? Well, later today the next chapter will be up, and you'll have to see! Plus, I think you'll like where this goes, there isn't much left for our Kirin and Unicorn in this story, but I shall hope you enjoy!
(Note, despite the fact they are bound together, they are NOT MARRIED! Dragons would be, but as this is a unique use of their Magic, there will be a unique effect on the to young minds.)
Hello all! Commentary for you all!
Firstly, I had to finish a bit regarding Sillie. If you guess she was pregnant, you deserve a Star for being right! I am unsure exactly what a Zorse/Opliptera crossbreed would look like, but I figure it might look cool!
Interesting fact I found out about Zorses when I was looking for what Zed could be. Although they are sterile, in terms of unable to breed themselves and make more, Genetically, they shouldn't be! A mule, for example, can't breed because of uneven chromosomes, but Zebra hybrids like Zorses and Zonkeys (I swear I don't make these up!) don't have this problem. Why can't they breed? Who knows. In Equestria, due to Magic in the land they can! I don't care...=p
This won't affect Silhouette's character development, and in future stories, she will actually be very happy to have children (she is in the letter, as she lives with some regrets quitting the Night Guard). For now, I am giving her a break. Rest assured, three or four stories from now, she will be ready and willing to be back, and have fun with everypony again!
Concerning the school room scene and solution. I initially had Blitzen attack Diamond Tiara, but after I changed the earlier part of the story to reflect more changes within him (thanks largely due to the binding sharing Sweetie's personality with his, and his to hers as well), I couldn't have him be a scared Pony anymore. He has a motivation to fight for. He is still emotionally damaged, but in time, those wound will heal too.
The word problem! Ahh! I looked over some episodes, and from what I gathered, there are anywhere from 9 to 12 seats in the classroom depending on the episodes, if you are going by that (obviously there seems to be a lot more kids when they are outside of class...I don't know why!). Anyway, you have Truffle, Twist (who I did not mention, but she is always there!), Snips and Snail, Silver Spoon, Diamond Tiara, and the CMCs. I also am including Featherweight and Rumble as well. This leaves one more filly/colt. I have no idea who to name., Oddly, there are always fillies and colts we see that are randomly generated in every episode. I will simply say, the last foal is in fact, one of those. (so 12 total!)
My request to anyone getting this far....and who did NOT read the next chapter...what is the answer? Hehe =p
Yes, Scootaloo made bank, but you have no idea how much Blitzy likes her too, but will never admit it out loud. She will be ok, but yes, she was hurt.
I hope I didn't make Filthy Rich seem to uncaring about his daughter. I do believe he is a caring Father, but a businessman too. Sometimes, you have to make arrangements in business that may affect your family. (so it seems, my personal opinion is a little different)

Hmm, this is where all is revealed. I am currently looking over the two ending resolutions to this, and changing a few things, but the basic idea is the same as I wanted. That said, I hope some people see why Rapi has so much hate in her heart. It doesn't excuse it. Her abuse of Blitzen, while explained off paragraphs, had no real justification.
I believe she truly loves him, as an adopted family to her loss, but the resentment bubbled up once her partner Griffon died. I tried to make her grief something Celestia didn't want to hurt her over (as seen by her being VERY patient over her threats to herself), but that goes out the window when her ponies are threatened.
As for Blitzen, in his heart, he is dedicating himself to Sweetie Belle, but is still unsure if she wants him back. As mentioned Kirin are loving and trustful, when not embittered by sadness, and his gift of that Gem was something very significant to him. He essential gave a part of his family, so that one day, they could make their own together. A promise, in other words.
I still am debating on Sweetie's thinking, sure, I have shown see has grown, but at the same time, she is still young. I also need to say, that special kiss essentially amplified that "spark" people talk about when they are in love, but on a physical level they could feel. I meant nothing beyond that and thought it a sweet final act they could share before facing the Sister.

I really hope you all have enjoyed the journey...looking back, I sort of wish I had changed a few things, but overall..I am happy with this sequel I never thought I would have written! It made me happy.
I shall be releasing the alternative ending, and Epilogue too, stay tuned!
As much as I hate what happened to things after this ending...I for some reason...like this one too! What is wrong with me???

This is just a glimpse at how life is going for the newly Private Blitzen. In case you are wondering, I have no idea what the R stands for in his middle name...I just chose a letter at random.
This is a bit of a callback to connect the first story I did, Wonder-Colt 3, to this story, and let some of the readers know the those particular Sega monsters weren't the only ones to come to Equestria.
I really enjoyed writing all these. I hope the fans of Blitzy like how things are going for him
