Also, meta wise I did consider Smolder or Ember for this. But to be frank, I ship Gabby and Rarity way harder with Spike. Their threesome relationship is OTP in my book. Heck, that whole episode is top-tier. I've even considered a few times doing a rewrite of the episode under the veins of a sex fight. Maybe next year, this month is already packed with good stuff for Gabby. The next two fics will be purely GabbyXSpike... with a bit of extra stuff for the Valentines post, check the schedule to see what I mean.

Depends on how much you lean into the cat aspect of the griffin. I've seen plenty of artists give griffins the floppiest of ears. As for MLP-style griffins... No, I guess they don't. Huh, sorry. I'll just change that to floppy feather, or drop the sentence entirely. I just needed some emotional reaction.
But seriously, look at Greek Mythology's take, you telling those ears can't flop.

Yeah, for Greek Mythology gryphons it makes sense, but after I read that sentence I literally paused and searched "MLP gabby" just to look if she had ears or not
Plus, I noticed that even though gryphons have bird heads, most of them have cat like ears, so it's a bit strange that MLP did not draw gryphons with ears.
