An understanding neighbor... that's rarer than an eclipse.

I was worried about where this was going, at first.

I kept wondering why this wasn't in the other court and why the "victim" wasn't responding to the "assailant"...

And then the plaintiff spoke up and everything fell into place.

It's a nice little trick because even when you see you're being set up for it you don't necessarily know where you're going so it retains enough surprise to be fun and you get to feel like a smarty for knowing something was up in the first place. It's just a quick little bit of fun. Wonderful.

Given that name, I’m imagining pony Granny Weatherwax. Which is… quite the mental image to conincide with what came before it.

I was wondering a *teensy* bit why this wasn't in the white marble building until they were both on the defendant's bench, but I was able to see that the tawny stallion was acting more worried about the potential for heat stroke/scalding in people trying to feel cool (why not just drink hot tea or coffee, lol); and then I saw it was a *scene* and the neighbor was just TIRED.
