Not sure why everyone goes crazy for the slavers. After all this seems to be an accepted form of society in this fic, one they probably lived hundreds of years in by now. Not all slaves gets abused and killed just for looking into their owners eyes. Twi´s best proof of that. Same for Twi´s parents who trusts Chains after a week to be alone with their daughter on a book shopping tour.
Also don´t forget that in slavery some slaves lived off much better than "free commoners". For example the worst Chains has to do is being test subject for filly Twi´s spells and i´m sure she won´t do any lethal ones to him, where commoners like AJ´s family have to buck trees, everyday, many of them, hard, to earn their food.
Yes, he´s not free but he could be free and worse off.

Though i´m glad in our world´s no slavery anymore... on the other hand given how less some jobs pay, slavery just got replaced with something else: Debts. Lots of debts and not enough payment to get rid of them. <_<

I wonder about Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. Will they show up?
When will Spike be shown or will this go a different story route?

This is incredibly messed up. But it is pretty interesting.
I like how this human has basically taken over Spike's role in this alternate universe. I always thought it was pretty messed up how Twilight basically used Spike as a child laborer in the show, and didn't extend the same kind of friendship to him as she did to the other 5 main ponies. It was like he was inferior and only meant for her servitude. So I like how this story seems to sort of touch on that theme.
Also, I am interested to know how humans came to be enslaved in this alternate universe. I hope it is explained in future chapters.

This story is interesting, Chains is a very strange character a line from Game of Thrones goes quite well with this story "People learn to love their chains".

There is one dialect/accent thing I can think of that could make this sentence work, but he hasn't used accents before and it doesn't have the punctuation for that anyway.

This chapter made me feel ill. This 8-year old child is so fucked up in the head, that he is willing to mutilate himself to stay interesting? These fucking Ponies need to die. Twilight hasn't done anything wrong, aside from owning a thinking, feeling being as a slave, but a small portion of that could be chalked up to societal norms.
