Alicorn or not, Luna was still just a child. Celestia was only one pony, and she was all Luna had. She had no choice but to focus on her sister during that turbulent time.

Great job, I like how you made a believable reason for why Opaline acts the way she does. I do wonder if you will have something big like her talking over and usurping Dragon Lord Ember and becomes leader of the dragons with the intent of using them to help her conquer Equestria and then take their magic as well as all pony magic, it was stated in the show that dragon magic is on par with pony magic.
