This is a superb evolution of Lightning Dust as a character. Transforming her further from a dash clone into a full on adrenaline junkie of the highest order is a natural next step, but her maiming herself and seeing it as a badge of honour? Thats neat..

I quite enjoyed this.

Probably not what you're envisioning exactly...but let's be honest, you don't really care about that at this point, Lightning, not so long as you still get to do your thing.

Lightning Dust and Iron Will seem like a natural pair to make a team that, in retrospect, it's sort of surprising there aren't more trying to do it already.

There is a depressing dearth of Lightning Dust fics that aren't yet another 'muh sad feels, I am le ruined because of a setback, here comes my rival to gloat under the guise of giving some advice'. Nice to see a fic where LD picks herself up and kicks ass again (some unfortunate law breakage notwithstanding).
