Stupid, you can't literally kill death. It's inconceivable.
This was cool, though not quite on the same level as the original. This is indeed Canon non-compliant, as Star Swirl is actually alive, having been trapped in Limbo, funnily enough. The bigger issue is that I had to suspend a lot of disbelief to buy that Adagio could invent biological immortality in 8 years without prior experience.
