Dewey Decimal was the head librarian of the Royal Canterlot Library. When Twilight Sparkle returns to her hometown to perfect an ancient long-distance teleport spell, Dewey sees an opportunity to escape his humdrum life. Dragging his childhood friend, 'Blank Flank' Steven, along with him for the ride, the pair find themselves in lands far from the safety of Equestria. Facing strange monsters, spirits and races while making few friends, they'll test how much a cutie mark really defines a pony.

Well, I thought I'd take a break from writing my other story,
Now that I've written the first chapter, I might leave the rest until I finish "The Kingdom of Discord" or I might alternate between the two.

I was quite torn about Dewey forcing Steven to come with him, I think it might make him too unlikable. Still, it'll be a source of conflict that I'll be able to use in future chapters.
In later chapters, I plan to add one or two characters to our little team of explorers, but not before taking a few chapters to explore the dynamic between the two of them alone
