In the dark depths of Asgard, Loki Odinson sits, punished for his crimes on Midgard.

While Loki makes a new life for himself in Equestria, Thor must once again gather together the Avengers and give chase to his escaped kin. But will the lies Loki feeds his newfound friends send the Elements of Harmony on a collision course with the protectors of Earth?

Good writing, a fun (if slightly odd) premise, and a nice chapter size. The Asgard scenes were readable, and the final segment introduced the pony aspect neatly. Well done!

Well, considering Loki can be beaten by Hulk (as seen above), and it takes the Amplifier Artifact of Equestria (Elements of Harmony) to quell Discord, I'd say Loki is just as big of a threat (if not bigger) as Discord, but he can be beaten slightly more easily (if done right, mind you).

It can be either-or in my mind. He was born Lauffeyson, but was raised as Odinson, and since he is Asgardian, I am sure most everyone (including himself) would refer to him as Loki Odinson.
Also: all Marvel-based characters are pulled entirely from the Marvel Universe Movies, so expect all lore to be drawn almost primarily from the five movies (Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger) and the Avengers. I'll probably throw in some comic-based or mythology-based tidbits, if I know them. I used to be big into comics, but I stopped sometime in the 90's and haven't gotten back into them since.

You did a brilliant job with dialogue and characterization of a post-Avengers Thor and Loki, and I am eager to see where this is going. I was kinda hoping to see Loki Ponified (Hey, that's 'one' way to hide from Heimdall) but I suppose we don't always get what we want.

It'll be coming shortly. I'm getting off a 6-day work week at Wal-Mart where I'm their resident cart mule. We do it all manually- no electric cart helper for us. so as you can guess, I'm fairly beat.
Fortunately, I'm off this coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so I hope to bang out a few chapters. Gonna be trying to keep them a bit shorter than this one (5,000-7,000 words) so as not to overwhelm people with verbage.
Oh: I'm not at all being rude, but I'm always looking to improve, so if you have something to say- good or bad- I'd really, REALLY love it if you'd be specific. It warms my heart to see 'I love this chapter, please more', but it tells me nothing about WHY you loved it so I can take that into consideration when I go forward.
