For some reason the link connection didn't work. Decided to post the pic with credits altogether.
Check your adblock, it can be weird sometimes. Just switch it off when messing with those settings and see if that helps.
Failing that, you can try clearing your cache and cookies. You'd be surprised how often old cookies are the problem. That's usually under the settings tab in both Chrome and Firefox. Be aware this will likely log you out of all your 'keep me logged in' sites, so make sure you've got copies of the passwords (though most browsers have a 'save my password' function these days, so that's less of an issue).
It could also be Chrome itself, if you're using that browser, as it will interfere with mature toggles and posting on certain sites if it thinks you're underage (as it uses your Google profile to log in). That can be solved by downloading and using the Firefox browser instead (it's free and safer than Chromium based browsers). Admittedly this is unlikely, as it only really happens on sites desgined to interact with Chrome on that level and I don't think this is one of those sites.
