Mother's Day

It was lesson time and Scootaloo was so bored shed been learning about "Mother's Day" In English and it felt like it had been hours of the teacher rambling about the same thing, sure there was an exception as her parents were coming to visit today and she was so excited to tell Rainbow Dash all about it the next day.

"And that class is why Mother's Day is very important!" Miss Cheerilee said

*DING DING* The bell rings, as Scootaloo got up and left with the crowd of students as Miss Cheerilee was saying goodbyes she heard people chatting about how the lesson was, some say it was amazing and cute others though it was boring and stupid, thought that wasn't on Scootaloo's mind she was thinking about how the rest of the Canterlot Movie Club (CMC) were probably waiting for her outside already as Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle both had Maths which was two stairs down of hers.

As she stepped out of School she saw her two best friends and hugged them tightly, Scootaloo wasn't really a hugging person but she didn't care when it came to Rainbow Dash and her friends.

"Heya Scoots!" Her redheaded friend said cheerfully

"So you guys still down for the meeting at mah house?"

"I would but I can't go my parents are coming to visit me today and I have to spend time with them and it's also Mothers Day me and Rarity were planning to suprise our mother with a huge gift! Sorry Apple Bloom..." Replied Sweetie

"And my parents are finally coming back from their dangerous super secret amazing detective hunting! They said they would be home when I get there so I'm really excited!" Scootaloo replied

"No no it's alright ah' understand you guys have to spend time with your family and so do ah so we can talk all about it tomorrow or over text!"

They all waved goodbye to eachother as Scootaloo started to walk to the Bus Stop, her house was pretty far away from Canterlot High School but she didn't care but she couldn't help but smile at the thought of her seeing her parents again, the last time she saw them was more than a year ago, as she finally reached the Bus Stop she sat down waiting for the buses arrival.

A few hours later, the Bus came as Scootaloo stepped on and looked for somewhere to sit, Once she found a chair to sit on she got out her phone to realise she got a text notification she clicked on it and it said:

“Hey Sweetheart I'm so sorry to tell you this but your parents can't and won't be able to come today as you know how busy they are and their manager told them that they have to go to another country again I know how excited you were and they are really sorry that they can't be here with you”

Scootaloo's heart sank as she read that message she should've knew that they wouldn't of came, she wanted to scream and shout now knowing her parents are aren't coming to see her, she couldn't help herself as tears ran down her face as she looked out the window she noticed it was raining how lovely just her luck and to think she was so excited to see her parents.

She sighed as she watched the rain pour she had no idea what she was planning to tell her friends about this how could they be friends with someone who's parent isn't even at home? What if they think she's a freak and leaves her? Or heck what if they hate her?! All these thoughts in Scootaloo's head was making her go crazy in her mind.

Once the bus stopped she got off and put her hood up and walked she wanted this day to end already as her day had already been ruined so she decided to take a short-cut to get home quickly.

As she walked into the alleyway she felt someone punch her she quickly turned around too see three people in a mask The first one wearing a black hoodie and a cigarette (Which Scootaloo assumed was the leader), the second one wearing a white shirt and a red hat covering his hair and the last one wearing chains and has brown hair.

"Well well well what's a girl like you going round here in these dark gloomy streets eh?" Chuckled the mysterious man

"L- Leave m- me alone! I'm not scared of you!!" Scootaloo managed to stutter out trying to hide her fear with confidence.

She had faced bullies before like Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon and didn't mind getting a little hurt but not like this, she didn't know what to do or where to go in this situation.

"So we gotta fiesty one hm? Never seen one of those around here" The second one smirked as the two others nodded in agreement, they stepped closer to the magenta haired semi-teen.

"Back off!" Scootaloo shouted trying her best to keep her guard up if one thing RD taught her is to never let her guard now in serious situation she never knew what she meant until now.

As the three men had been silent Scootaloo took this time to analyse her surroundings she knew there was not way of escape she they have already cornered her into a dead end!

"Why not teach this little girl not to mess with us?" The third one said

The three men stepped closer, with each step Scootaloo felt her eyes flash before her eyes, she was terrified and wished she never would've came this way, she started to cry knowing that this might be the last time of alive and nobody would know where she is...

Scootaloo cried in defeat knowing there was no escape

"Get away from her!" Shouted a strangely familar southern voice as she threw another rock at them

The three men turned around to see a redheaded girl standing and holding a pile of rocks in her other hand

"There's two of em!?" Shouted the first one is shock

"It doesn't matter it's not like this kid can do anything" replied the third one

"Didn't ya hear me? Ah said get the buck away from mah best friend!" Shouted Apple Bloom

Apple Bloom threw a rock at them which hit the first on in the eye, he screamed in agony of pain and anger

"Do you want me to repeat mahself!?" Apple Bloom reminded as she gave a stern look to them

"Alright alright we'll leave let get outta her boys!" Shouted the leader as they all ran for their lifes.

Apple Bloom ran to Scootaloo and gave her a big hug

"Are you alright they didn't touch you anywhere did they?!" Questioned Apple Bloom

"Yes yes I'm fine bloom but how did you find me-"

Suddenly Scootaloo got interrupted by a really mad Applejack running to her little sis, she stopped as she saw her.

"Apple Bloom! What in tarnatin were you thinking running of like that, I get that it's hard for you and I understand but it doesn't give you any excuse for you to go off me an granny were so worried about you, you could've got hurt or worse!" Applejack shouted

"But big sis!" Whined Apple Bloom

"No buts missy you're are gonna be grounded!- Wait ain't that your friend Scootaloo from school?" Asked Applejack

"Yeah... She was in here I don't know why but she was getting cornered to the wall by these three guys and they looked like they were gonna hurt her so ah saved her Applejack!" Confessed Apple Bloom

"Apple Bloom... You have to stop running off like I know you're grown up a bit but in a dark alleyways where it's common for people to get hurt" Sighed Applejack

"Can we leave now I don't wanna be here anymore..." Muttered Scootaloo

The two Apple sisters plus Scootaloo made their way out of the alleyway and back to the barn.

****In Apple Bloom's room****

"So why were ya in the alleyway in the first place Scoots?" Apple Bloom asked

"Well uh..."

Scootaloo explained what happened to her and how sad she felt as Apple Bloom listened carefully

"I'm so sorry Scootaloo, think of it like this even if you can't see you're parents today just think about how happy they are and how much they love you and would want to see you too besides you have me, Sweetie Belle and everyone else to keep you company!" Apple Bloom exclaimed in joy

"Awh thanks Bloom I really appreciate it you're the best! though I have a question"

"What is it?" Apple Bloom wondered

"Well it's what Applejack said what did she mean by “I know it's hard for you and I understand” what happened and why did she says it like that?" Scootaloo asked

"Oh uh promise not to tell anyone?" Her tone changed, and Scootaloo noticed

"Promise"

"Alright... Well my parents are kinda um dead..." Sighed Apple Bloom as she looked down

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I just thought you guys would think I'm weird for only living with my granny and siblings and not want to be my friend anymore..." She continued as tears began to go down her face

"Apple Bloom..." Said Scootaloo

"No it's okay... ah'm fine don't apologise!" Responded Apple Bloom as she wiped her tears from her face

Scootaloo hugged her friend tightly, they spend the rest of the night having lots of fun, Scootaloo's aunts found out what happened at contacted the police they died got arrested the next day, and Scootaloo even got to eat with the Apple Family which was a pleasure, Apple Bloom was happy and glad her friend was with her and on the other hand Sweetie Belle got to suprise her mother and they spend time together so this was the most amazing Mother's Day Scootaloo had ever had and one she'll never forget.

"Thank you so much Apple Bloom..."

I feel like the characters are a little out of character but im not sure because the CMC don't really have that much speaking roles in Equestria girls also I know this was after Mother's Day anyway I hope you enjoy!

You might want to see what tags like tragedy and sad actually mean, as this wasn't really neither of those. It was also pretty rushed, bouncing from tense to tense and a bit hard to follow, so just take your time when writing. Those are stuff you'll easily notice if you give it another read through before posting. You're not in a hurry.
