Hello! I'm reading and reviewing all the treefics entered, so here's yours. A definite touch of the fairytale about this one, and the ending fits with that. I will admit that I'm not an anthro fan, which maybe hurt this a little for me, but given that I was pleased that the... anthro-ness didn't feel awkward as sometimes it can. Maybe also slightly hampered by your thing being exact thousands of words -- I suspect I'd have liked this more if it had broken that restraint and been maybe 200-300 words longer. Still interesting, though!
