wait, right off the bat, I'm confused.

"Laying in his bed Captain of the Royal Guard, and Co-Monarch of the Empire was still resting comfortably. Alone in his bed, his wife, Princess Cadance, was always an early riser."

How is Cadance an early riser if she's alone in the bed? Where is he resting, since apparently she's alone in his bed? Because it ALSO says HE'S resting in his bed?

These statements can't all be true
