With the worlds of humanity and Equestria safe and at apparent balance with no magical disruptions to speak of, the girls of Canterlot High are left with nothing to do until Twilight’s brother Shining Armor invites them for a rousing game of Dungeons and Dragons. Naturally, the last thing the girls expected was for them to actually end up in the magical world of his making, transformed and kitted up as the characters they created. Their only way home is to win the campaign and get everyone out alive, but will they succeed or be trapped within this realm of new and decidedly unfamiliar magic forever?
This is my best attempt at writing a story similar to Nephilim’s erotica story of the same sort of genre but using actual DnD rules (also including various skill-checks and a play-by-play of spells used and combat); just twisted to better match the Isekai setting and nowhere near as horny.
Character Sheets will be included in end-of-chapter notes and updated after every Level-Up.

If thats the fight they have just with a patrol or scouting party, any leader with just a few extra class levels is going to be a right pain to deal with. Especially with Chekovs Egg there?
The characters playing D&D and Equestrian magic affects it. This'll be fun. Hope that Shining has some influence on it because of what happened.
I'm liking their described outfits. And with rolls made to state what the events of the chapters play out, it'll be much more interesting.

A blade snuck into town in the party's cart, a poison that kills at midnight, and drow in a barrow to deal with. The girls will have their hands full here. Loving the updated character details each level.
Another awesome battle and some good rewards for Fluttershy. A Unicorn Spirit Totem and her Geode! First of the team to get it back, which makes sense because of her class and the abilities it has. Animal communication will help a lot later on.
Mysterious dream, fine clothes that make me think of the Gala dresses from Season 1, and backstory before the party. This'll be interesting.
New NPCs that'll be important later, separate investigations that have plenty of info for many story points, and the girls being set up to take the fall for a conspiracy. Hope that things turn out alright in the end.
The Duke's a good guy. Nice. And with Rainbow's character background helping out, the girls are set free and the conspiracy is dealt with. So is the orc attack. And the king is saved thanks to Fluttershy, so that's great to see. With a grand reward for their service, the girls level up again and everyone has their subclasses now.
Loving the Geode abilities for the gameplay parts. Dash movements and Acrobatics advantage. Fitting. I bet Applejack's is a boost to carrying capacity, advantage on Strength abilities, and maybe even a damage boost with Strength weapons. Rarity's would be increase to AC and the Shield spell for free once a battle. Pinkie could have an explosive spell attack, Twilight's able to use spells like Telekinesis for free, and Sunset would get some good mind-reading spells.
New dream for Sunset, a new location, and an awesome battle with Gelatinous Cubes. Let's see what else happens.

Warlock Patron bidding war over Sunset's soul. Damn, this is going to be wild. I was Sunset, I'd probably go with a Celestial patron or Titania (who I like being described as a queen with queen-sized "blessings"). With two different battles this chapter, I'm glad the girls have an NPC ally with them to return the egg.
If any of the others were to Multiclass, I'd say that Rarity and Applejack get some Monk levels for Martial Arts bonuses, especially since you can use Strength or Dexterity for Monk damage. Plus, Rarity would get Unarmored Defense to kick butt in wonderful attire. For Rainbow Dash, Fighter to get Action Surge and a Fighting Style would help a lot.
