Now this is a great alternative! You know this was a missed opportunity Fluttershy could've gone with Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash to Griffinstone and not only would Gilda make up with Rainbow and become friends with Pinkie but Fluttershy as well because Fluttershy and Gilda were just alike when they were young, Fluttershy can finally stand up to Gilda when she's had enough of her bullying then she finds out that Gilda was bullied like her when she was young before Rainbow Dash defended her, I'm pretty sure they would have become friends.
Wow, just wow. For a first story this is incredible! I love the way you wrote Fluttershy-you did a wonderful job of combining her shy and stern attitudes. It's really why I love her as a character so much. I also love how you wrote Gilda as a tsundere-esque character, seeming harsh on the outside but being quite feeble on the inside. It makes her a much more likable charachter. And her friendship with Rainbow Dash is a nice touch as well.
I really hope you continue to write. I would love to read more stories from you in the future!

And yeah, Fluttershy may be shy, but she’s also assertive, and that’s why she’s one of my favorites for sure. I just love her character so much. Who doesn’t? I think having a shy but strong attitude is a very good thing sometimes.

Aww thanks Fluttershy is my favorite character too beside Discord, I just relate to her so much .
Speaking of Discord I know he never Gilda or if Fluttershy ever told him about her
But I just thought it would be funny if Discord thought Gilda was attacking Fluttershy ( they were actually hugging) and he tried to protect her, but Fluttershy stops him before he can do something to Gilda telling him that they're friends now and Discord sheepishly puts Gilda down like in an episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air where Ashley was being bullied

This is a really nice story. I liked how Fluttershy and Gilda managed to find common ground and Fluttershy was able to help Gilda begin to make amends.
For your first story, this was well done. I felt the pace might have been a touch too fast, but that was probably me just reading it too quickly. Overall, I enjoyed the tone, and of course, I love a happy ending. Nice work.

To be honest, I did not like Gilda that much, but after seeing the episode “The Lost Treasure of Griffonstone”, I changed my opinion on her. She’s not so bad at all.

For your first story, that was pretty impressive. I love this alternate ending to Griffon the Brush Off, and I love how Fluttershy acted in this story as you wouldn't expect that from a shy Pegasus, and if you get it from her, you get it big time, and that's what I like about her.
