The griffin was a female with vibrant blue feathers and fur, her face had white and black spots and her wings had green spotted feathers that remind you of a peacock... well, now that you think about that the general aesthetic of this gal looks exactly like a peacock, she had even the weird things in the top of her head, go figures.

I made it like that since I guessed it was fair since here the females are the one that have to call the attention of the males, and since the "girly" stuff are "cocky" stuff, it would made sense that a vibrant and adorned females would be more popular with males, making that subspecies evolve like this.
