Sprout Cloverleaf has fallen from his one time, lofty and cushy job and secure financial future to become perhaps thee most despised pony in all of Equestria. As Hitch Trailblaizer's deputy and the defacto CEO of Canterlogic Inc. once his mother stepped down from the position, Sprout had a future any pony would've envied. But, in the blink of an eye, he threw away his whole life over baseless fears and bigotry.
Sprout now must face the consequences of his actions, face an uncertain future where everything he took for granted is gone and must learn to rebuild a life for himself. With help from some old friends and from a few new ones he will meet along the way, he will face many challenges and heartbreak in the quest to reclaim his life. Will he make the right choice(s) when pressed, or will he fall back on old habits that ruined his life before and could very well ruin him again.

Thanks for checking it out. Yes, it's going to get VERY tough for Sprout and he will be going through a LOT. Trust me when I say, some of the chapters I have worked out had me in tears when writing them out; as if I were intentionally 'hurting' him and felt terrible that so much pain and suffering could befall one character. He's only 21 when sent away to jail; very young and naïve of what the world can dish out to those down on their luck.

Dang! You managed to craft a sturdy legal narrative whilst simultaneously allowing time for emotional development. Sometimes the representation of the news-ponies and crowds feels satirical, but other times dauntingly realistic in respect to the real world.
I absolutely LOVE your characterizations for the Mane 5 and others! Thank you for making Hitch a competent authority and Sunny a righteous heroine. Thank you for making Phyllis a caring mother. Thank you for making Sprout a flawed but redeemable pony.

I want Sprout to be seen as a more complex character, rather than his rather over simplified persona in the movie. I want to show the hows and whys of his character and what he does to reclaim his life.
This was quite a read, you had me hooked from the start. This is exactly what I was looking for, the story about Sprout's struggles to redeem his past actions. The darker, more serious setting only makes it better.
One scene that stood out to me on particular, you captured the assault of the press very well, god it was brutal and I felt truly disgusted with journalists.
I'm looking forward to continuation of this story.
