Yeah, that combined with him having a boyfriend/husband(o)/mate that he dearly loves (and outright knows and groks on a fundamental level loves him right back), friends he can relate with/talk to, and a good long lifespan ahead means that it’s pretty much inevitable for him to overcome said trauma in my opinion.
