Brandon, a human, is sent to Equestria in a freak accident with one of his father's crazy inventions and loses his memory. After residing in Equestria for a short time, however, he finds that disaster is about to befall both his world and Equestria, and must find a way to save them both.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE comment, unless you're just going to say something along the lines of "This is an HiE, so it's stupid because HiE's are stupid". I liked it a lot. For some reason, I find "Twilight blew herself up again; with science! " a lot more entertaining than "Twilight screwed up on a spell... again".

1325376 Thank you! The funny thing is, when I wrote this, I wasn't even aware that HiE was a genre at all, much less that it was kind of looked down upon, if ya know what I mean. I was pretty ignorant of everything at that point, really. So it was just a stroke of luck that my story didn't turn out exactly like all the others, though I suppose I could claim it was my sense of originality.
Also, I'm a big Sci-fi AND fantasy fan, so there will be a bit of both in this story. ^^
1326443 The reflexive hate for HiE stories seems to have increased dramatically. My first story was HiE, posted five months ago, and even then I waited until three chapters were finished to post it, so that hopefully it would be clear it wasn't the "normal" HiE story.
I have an idea for a sequel, yet I'm leery to post it.

1326480 Well, personally I like HiE stories. You just gotta know how to pick them, because lots of them are poorly written, redundant blocks of text. However, they have the POTENTIAL to be very good.
