Two queenlings must fight to see who is worthy of birthing a new generation of changelings and leading them to glory.

Fascinating. On the darker side for sure, and a bit of a shame we won't get to see more of Moth and her level-headed approach, but it was a wonderful read. Fantastic use of pacing and pause. Those lines right before Queen Membrane cuts off the fight, it gives a lot of character to the story.

Thank you so much for your feedback! It was fun to write! I was originally thinking of having Chrysalis let Moth live and have a full story about Moth seeking revenge and such. But I realized that, realistically, there's no way she would let her live so I ended it this way.

Also, as someone who always worries about pacing I'm so glad you thought the pacing was good! Thanks again!

This was quite good. You managed to hit the right amount of darkness without going too far with it. I would have liked to see more detail in certain places that felt a bit quick, but overall, it was well-written.
