A whisky man

Night Light, cloak bedighted and armed with shield, spell and unremitting boldness, trailed a thieving dragon through the Badlands' barren immensity for several days to win back his beloved's wedding ring. Somewhere along his trek through the sea of sand and leering crags the dragon took notice.

Delightful stuff. I love this presentation of Night Light, showcasing what both of his children inherited from him, from nearly insane levels of determination to magical prowess to disarmingly dorky demeanor. If this is the sort of thing these two get up to in their spare time, it's no wonder how their kids turned out the way they did.

Also, I learned the word "bedight"! Today is a good day.

Thank you for a lovely read. Best of luck in the judging.

If only the dragon was smaller...

Well this was a pretty interesting story here so night light try to figure out what happened to the ring when they came from the Badlands when velvet lost in but it looks like one dragon kind of took it so he tried to get it from her and not only that he was a pretty good fighter and a high level Magic and probably that's how Twilight and Shining Armor got it from but after he got the ring he apologized to the Dragon and went home but it looks like the dragon decided to help him to get him home even introducing herself to him when they got home Twilight velvet was happy the ring is back and even him came back alive and even bringing a friend that's one way to make a friend Pony or creature well this was a pretty awesome story keep up the good work

Gaily bedight, a gallant knight, in sunshine and in shadow, had journeyed long, singing a song, in search of El Dorado.

Twilight and Shining definitely coming from the adventureous side of their family tree then.
