Just a French guy who love technicolor ponies… Oh, and I’m dyslexic.

In the human world,"A Crystal Prep’ student by the name of Moondancer found some notes of Twilight Sparkle’s research on Magic before her transfer to Canterlot High-School, and decide to complete them by resuming them as her own, repeating Sci-Twi’s mistakes.

Sunset Shimmer wake up with memories stopping in the middle of the fight, back in Equestria, unsure of what transpired. And if that wasn’t enough, she’s now an Alicorn, and back before Twilight moved to Ponyville.

Thats not good.....

Ok, the first chapter started of WAY too fast

"No. I first came back to steal the Element of Magic from Twilight, who made me realize the errors of my ways. And since becoming the principal of CHS, I often come back for the holiday with my wife, when she isn't giving another of her speech at a conference or another. Sometime we even brought our best friends with us. Why?"

😳

:twilightblush:

OMG i always love this plot about sunset retuning to past, thanks for the update

Groundhog Day intensifies

This is a good and interesting premise and I’m definitely looking forward to more, but the pacing is a little fast. Celestia and Sunset seem to accepted her time travel a too fast. I’d recommend exploring characters reactions to things, both big (like Sunser being an alicorn) and small (a small detail here is Sunset shows no reaction to Celestia asking if she’s been to Equestria before. A question Celestia should know the answer to.) These are just two examples that I hope will give you some inspiration to improve your craft.

Pacing is extremely rushed.

So Sunset’s world, where her friends and wife are, is now in the clutches of a Midnight Moondancer without the elements. How is getting back to save them not Sunset’s number one priority?

Thanks, and sorry I accidentally posted the second chapter far too early. It’s nowhere near finished. :facehoof:

As I said earlier in this message, I made the error of posting an unfinished chapter. :raritycry: I would have (and will) explain it latter.
But, if you don’t have anything about spoilers: She has theorized she will need a full set of active elements of harmony to have any hope of returning home. (Does it mean the equestrian 6, all 7 with her own, she don’t know yet.) Of the elements from the human world, only her own is still active. And nobody reactivated the Equestrian ones yet, so…

This needs spelling and grammar checking.

Thanks for your advices. Might revisit the first chapter using them. As for this one, I fear I posted it far, FAR too soon. :facehoof: Will have to rework and prolong it.

Good start of the story. Very intriguing.

Any chance this will be continued?

No offense, but something like this already exists. "Sunset Reset" is called history.

uis

Celestia was taken from her ruminations upon entering the secret room housing the mirror portal, which laid out of it's horseshoe-shaped frame, on the ground, broken. A quick spell confirming there was no magic left in any of its pieces, nor the frame.

How could this happened?

Hope to see it continued.

There's always room for more. Sunset Reset kinda gets lost in the whole teen drama relationships stuff and doesn't progress time much.

By throwing Sunset in at this juncture, it's probable that the author wants to focus on Sunset's impact on season 1.

I.m personally looking forward to reading more.

While Sunset Reset was alright, it was overly edgy and the sequels didn't so much as jump the shark as they did backflips over the entire ocean.

Besides, taking a similar concept in a new direction is perfectly fine.

11429515 You forgot the word, 'Unfortunately'. It started out so well, then went down a sinkhole of teen drama and angst. Plus the Twilight hate. So much Twilight hate.

I'm sorry to see this stalled.
