With Celestia being unhinged, that was the point. This is just a one-shot after all so I didn't required a 'deep' Celestia.
Also, this was made for laughing with the memes, so this is mostly comedy than any other thing.

With the Jedi being casual, same thing with Celestia, although I did wanted to include some form of development so I included the conversation between Anakin and Obi-wan at the start. If you watched Episode III and I you'll understand :D

Sometimes, villains are just evil because they are evil (like Palpatine XD). Deep villains with reasonable explanations to their acts are very good, but that doesn't means that ALL villains should be like that.

That was fun. Just one small nitpick. I was surprised Celestia didn't realize that there were other alien species around or never encountered them during the invasion. I'm picturing races like Rodians standing there covered in potion and glaring at the ponies before drawing blasters and firing.
