The world slowly returns to normal after Sugar Hoof, the newly coined 'Beast of the Everfree' due to his magic being similar to the Everfree Forest's, was defeated thanks to the elements of harmony and the three alicorn princesses. After his death, an explosion of life magic descended upon the world, setting right the wrongs his reign had brought. The hollowed out world was refilled and Sugar's minions were destroyed.

Unbeknownst to the global population, the planet's core was still being slowly corrupted by life magic, and though dead, Sugar Hoof's body was slowly being restored by the residual life and harmony magic from the explosion.

A couple months later, a new farmer moves to Ponyville.
