As someone who drives about 20k miles a year for vacation, Kansas is awful, but only because it's boring as heck and there's nothing to do and the towns smell like cow farts and manure. But driving through Missouri and Colorado and Indiana sucks worse because there is an unreasonable amount of road work an road damage and I hate it with my entire being, whereas Kansas actively keeps it's roads maintained. It's "the worst state except all the other ones", and future chapters are going to have her say that she travels around the country to see her friends a lot. I already have the next three chapters completely written and it's highlighted. It's not any sort of political statement.

You should see Orlando, FL. The roadwork literally never ends, and sometimes, the roads being worked on didn't have anything wrong with them to begin with. When they finish screwing around with one part of the road, they decide to tear out another area that they literally just freggin' paved a few weeks prior, then they repave it again and find some other part of the road to "fix".
The city expanded into the small town I lived in, bringing with it the roadwork and taxes associated. I don't live there anymore.
I enjoyed the concept but the story is going nowhere very slowly. Dropping out.

Seems to be a popular template for foal-transformation stories. This is the fourth or fifth one I've seen, and the foal-transformation bit is not a common prompt.
It keeps getting me how Bright Side turned Emily to Ama Lee. Ema Lee would make more sense.
It is so funny to see others react to her reactions to being a pony. They think the way she is action is from abase, but really it is just being happy to be turned pony.
