Little after story comment, I know it's a bit of a short first chapter but I just want to see what you all think before making a longer chapter

i hate to tell you this but having a chapter in some places, depending on the website less than 2k-5k words is seriously frowned upon & even in some cases against site rules (i am looking at you spacebattles forums).
3k words on this site is the sweet spot to keep people hooked.
