Yeah, lol... I've never had a story hit this hard by downvotes. I was expecting it to get a lot, but not this much.
Still, it might not only be homophobia ... I'm sure there are plenty who will downvote because of foalcon or because of incest, too.

At least -- as usual -- the drive-by downvotes dried up once it was no longer on the front page, while the slow trickle of upvotes kept coming. At least it has more upvotes than downvotes now. Used to be the opposite! And I'd never had any story (unintentionally) get a negative rating before.

Given the story's relative lack of popularity, though, there probably won't be a sequel. I've got lots of stories that need writing, so one that's not likely to get many readers is a pretty low priority.
