Well, the previous story was a night course for adults not enrolled in the school themselves. This one is an official lesson for students, so it's a different cirriculum.

As a nonbinary individual myself, I’m rather confused what Ocellus’s reaction has to do with them being nonbinary. There really is no connection between the two that I can see. While I can think of a few things that would prompt a reaction like that, none of them have anything to do with gender.
