But the mane six don't care to follow the plot, they just want to go home. Of course, hilarity, randomness, romance, and Rarelight/ Spiknie/ Flutterpants and many more ensue, just because I can.

This story was a laugh a minute...until Discord showed up. Poor Twilight. I'm guessing the three stories at the end are The Story of Troy, Moby Dick and The Cat in the Cat. I'll keep watch on this story.

I love the concept! And the first chapter is hilarious. I can't wait for more!
PinkieSpike? Hell yeah. Though I also love the fact that Rarity thinks he looks cute in his "little doggie collar." And his comment following that line was just the sort of typical Spike dialog that makes me crack up. Pretty much everything he did and said at the poppyfield was awesome. If only the MLP writers themselves could write Spike as likeable and entertaining as this.
I also liked Rarity's reaction to his shifting affections. And if you ask me, her reaction after the makeout scene with Twilight (which was amazingly hot) was totally called for. Well, she could've been a little less violent, but still: shame on Twilight for betraying Spike's trust. And the other six seem really adamant about keeping him in the dark. Wtf?
Even after all that, these thoughts fled my mind during that epic showdown against Twilight. How did you manage to write such an electrifying and destructive action sequence? Peter Jackson's got nothing on you.
You should've left Discord out of it. This is a majorly fun, light story to read, and the only purpose he serves by being involved in the plot is to raise the stakes and put the characters in danger, which is completely unnecessary and (in my opinion) unwelcome. Looking forward to whatever's next, as long as Discord isn't too involved.

So many laughs were to be had. Good job on that. I was laughing pretty hard when the ponies were arguing from their ships while approaching Troy, and Lyra cracked me up too.
I'm gonna say Treasure Island because of a handful of comical ideas stirring around in my head.
I have an idea for the next book in your series. I should warn you though now, it might make you quite weary. It's a book full of rhymes that's loved by all ages. A book that has fun on all of its pages. It's a book that will make Twilight want to just scat. I speak of, of course, the Cat in the Hat.
I don't remember Enemy at the Gates being a novel. Just a movie with a terrible love subplot.
2935067 It's military history, so it's in lots of military history books. And the book the movie is based on isEnemy at the Gates: The Battle for Stalingrad. And also, movies count here, because to be made a movie, it has to be written down at some point, even if it is just as a script.

So Trixie is indeed going to die in every chapter... For some reason, I find that enormously comical, even though I love Trixie. Though in this case, I think it would have been funnier - and in line with the present brand of humor - if you had described Trixie's corpse as having X's for eyes and her tongue hanging out.
Bits of prose in this chapter did feel a little awkward and there are a couple capitalization errors, which is a tad surprising if it went through as many rewrites as you suggest. But it was fun, especially the idea of Spike carrying Trixie around in a box. Those two really need more interaction in the fandom; too bad Trixie kicked the bucket before they could do anything together.
*blinks and giggles* This is great fun! It's a bit rushed and in a few spots I think there needed to be more to fill out things going on but still great fun. If you ever do a rewrite or need another editor/pre-reader give me a shout.
