Since I've been reading these stories from case 2, I thought I'd start reviewing each chapter, rather than saying "great chapter!" to hopefully give you some constructive criticism kinda thing.
It was a good idea to set some of the backstory from Irenius' POV. At present before we met him, he seemed to be a heartless monster who just wanted his wife to give birth quicker but now we see he was just anxious for a new heir to the family business. You can see after Tailspin is born he is very depressed, which leads to his anger at Tailspin.
We then begin to see his regret in the present day and how he wants to connect back with his estranged sons. I like how the ending to this is also the ending to Case 8..
Overall good story, giving us some more backstory on Private's parents.
